im pretty sure anybody who buys a bong has the intention of just smoking tobacco
you know that as fact?
water bottle + garden hose
how'd harper get into office twice in a row
He got voted in again because he had no real competition
Who the fuck votes these idiots in?
Old people
And while I don't think they'll really enforce it too much out here in BC, it's a pretty big bringdown. While you guys are legalizing pot, we're off banning pot s'more
I mean honestly, we have cafes in which you smoke bud over coffee or a snack. They're full of bongs, cops are really going to break their little trust thing with local stoners over a stupid law Harper is throwing at us? All things like this do is get us more upset, less compliant etc, but Harper is the devil so I can't be held accountable for what he pulls
Who the fuck votes these idiots in?
It's less that they were voted in and more that no one ever votes in Canada because we just lost hope/stopped caring because all the candidates break promises and never really do that much
Harper said he would drop GST to 0% in 3 years, he dropped it by 2% at first and then said that shit was too rough to continue, and he still got voted in the next term.
Damn it Canada, stop trying to be America, I need a backup nation encase this one fucks up.
Realistically unless Harper is snubbed out now he'll destroy us
im pretty sure anybody who buys a bong has the intention of just smoking tobacco
i've bought bongs before for art projects. smoking pot with them is not their only use.

Trip to the hardware store can easily yield you a virtually indestructible bong.
im pretty sure anybody who buys a bong has the intention of just smoking tobacco
that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be allowed to purchase bongs. more people smoke pot out of a pipe than tabacco out of a pipe, would you ban pipes?
This has been law since 1988
It's been very loosely enforced the entire time
Vancouver Sun is being pretty damn sensationalist here
Ugh. Vote splitting. This man would NOT have won if the Liberal (left-wing) vote wasn't split between THREE separate parties. The Conservative (right-wing) vote is only for ONE party.
We need Harper out of office. We needed him out of once when the Liberal Party called an election because Harper was given a "VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE".
First time in Canadian history and he got re-elected with a majority government. Unreal.
as is any other written or video material used to “promote, encourage or advocate, the production, preparation or consumption of illicit drugs.”
Holy fuck that's insane
October 19 needs to come sooner so we can vote him out.
WHAT!
This....this cant be..... it ...... no...
I'm going to apply for my Canadian citizenship later this year just so I can help vote Harper right the fuck out of office, god damn this is getting old
Yeah vote splitting has put the Conservatives in a great position ever since they re-united the right wing. It comes with having multiple parties on each political wing. But having two-parties that just swap places every five years isn't much better either, really. I dunno, maybe the right'll fracture again, that's what I'd prefer, instead of the left uniting.
Fucking morons.

This right here.
Won't do anything.
They're supposed to be banned in Australia but if you walk into any head-shop you will see "oil-pourers".
aren't bongs/ect legal to buy in the US? I live 40 minutes from the border, does this means hordes of Canadians are going to come here to get this stuff?
It's slowly becoming America :tinfoil:
Except America is legalizing pot.
It's obviously just a technicality bullshit type of thing. Bongs aren't banned.
If this law isn't a new thing I'm pretty sure the cops %100 don't enforce it.
Almost every convenience store here sells a wide variety of bongs/grinders/rolling papers/pipes and I've seen a few cannabis culture and growers guide magazines for sale.
[editline]17th May 2013[/editline]
Yeah this law has been around for a while, you guys are taking it like it's a new thing.
Surprised about this harsh law? Don’t be, it’s 25 years old – enacted back in 1988 by the Conservative government of Brian Mulroney.
Nobody enforces this.
Yeah seriously how could you great Canadian guys let this happen
Pierre Poutine
So people are blaming the Harper Tories for ignoring a law enacted by the Mulroney Red Tories and also ignored by the Chretien Grits. Of course, pointing out that this law has nothing to do with Harper won't change anything.
Love how nobody realized this law was around since 88, it's there in bold right when you load up the article
I thought there was a city in Canada that was like "weed town" where the cops looked the other way.
It's slowly becoming America :tinfoil:
FUCK THE CONSERVATIVES.
Seriously, they shouldn't be called "Progressive Conservatives" they should be called "Reactionary Party"
Because they're going backwards instead of forwards.
Seeing as that's what everyone I know uses it for that purpose. Honestly there is no reason to smoke anything else out of it. Sure you could smoke tobacco out of one, that way you can get such a nicotine buzz that you throw up.
I have a buddy that we call Tyler Danger who smokes tobacco bongloads all day everyday, and will never smoke cigarettes.
