I liked Georgia. Dunno why its contestant was rated so low. She deserved at least being in top 10, considering she also wrote lyrics and music.
And I was absolutely sure Russia won't get the 1st place. After all, it's Russia, plus having Eurovision 2016 here would only eat more of our slowly recovering budget. You have to admit though, Polina was good. Second place deserved without a doubt.
Anyway, congratulations to Sweden. Rip-off or no, the contestant and the song were great. Special effects were really impressive.
I wanted Australia to win, just for the sheer salt that would've been unleashed on the world.
I only caught a glimpse of it, but which country had the metal band of people with down syndrome and willliams syndrome? They were fucking awesome.
Finland
Finland with Lordi. Yes. It was awesome.

In my opinion, the only song that has ever truly deserved to win.
To be honest, this entire years worth of songs was a giant snorefest.
Almost all songs were boring ballads.
Turks are coming back on 2016, hopefully we'll send more rock entries.
I only caught a glimpse of it, but which country had the metal band of people with down syndrome and willliams syndrome? They were fucking awesome.
that was ours, they were more of a punk act though and didn't make it to the finals
Should've been Finland to win
i like both sweden's and UK's, was a tie for those for me.
though yeah by the end i was like where are all the interesting songs? almost all of them were generic love/pop songs.

Didn't watch it though, it's so boring nowadays in my opinion.

I liked this, although I should because I'm Estonian.
They were a bit nervous though.
I didn't expect any good results for Germany, but no points at all??
At least Austria is in the same boat. (which I don't quite get either)
Romania's entry fucking SUCKED
Now why don't they do this more often?
We had to host the contest the next time around.
Turns out, shit costs money, and thus we never sent any viable candidates to the contest.
lol germany

[sp] dat ass tho [/sp]
Swedens main export is basically song writers. The russian song was written by two swedes, which makes the whole competition funnier :v:

the novelty will wear off

I dunno how it is in other countries but in the UK going on Eurovision is basically admitting your career is dead
I'm pretty sure sending an actually good artist is considered cheating

I mean we could send JLS, One Direction, Artic Monkeys etc. and win instantly so we have to send someone rubbish so that everyone else has a chance.
Russia as per usual only got ahead because of all the political voting
Doesn't everyone hate russia politically? If anything with political voting Russia should be at the bottom.
Funny that everyone thinks most of the songs were boring, personally I found this to be one of the strongest Eurovision's in a while, song-wise.
There was about 4 songs that I actually liked, as opposed to the normal 0-2. Latvia, Italy, Australia, Norway.
I also kinda liked: Sweden (party song, but not song-song), Germany, Israel, Slovenia, Cyprus (good old 90's boybandish song). Lithuania could have been good had they actually been able to sing.
It was also funny to see the pattern in the votings. If Australia got low, Sweden would get 8 points because those two songs are similar in style and people preferred the swedish one more. Russia would then get more points because where Sweden plays popular pop-song of this time, Russia played a pop song from the 90's early 00's. Italy would normally get the 12 points if Sweden or Russia got 8 points or less.

All the countries close to Russia gave them a 12 or a 10 due to fear, probably.
Apparently they got boo'd when they entered the stage too?
Swedish winner: Måns zelmerlöv whit a sign language interpretation

Or maybe. Just maybe, it is because they don't like it.

Germany fears us then.
Annual reminder about ultimate contest trolling (yes, this was an entry, and they made an especially bad song, wanting to end at last place, but failed)

Perhaps they think Sweden's song is better than Russia's?

ah... good old sign language coverage of eurovision. Always ends up producing some pure-gold material
