No. Debunked myth.
They do sometimes crawl in your mouth while youre asleep. There was actually a video of this on America's Funniest Home Videos a while ago. A guy was asleep on his couch with his mouth open. A spider was crawling on his face, went into his mouth, crawled out, then went back in. If i remember correctly, he ended up waking up a little, did a yawn kinda thing, and swallowed it
Ill never know what it's like to be an arachnophobe, my dad's one, a couple of friends I know are. I had one as a pet I'd see almost everyday at elementary school recess, pretty chill things.
Maybe if I had a spider as a pet as a kid I wouldn't be afraid of them now. Maybe the cure for this pandemic is to in force all children to have spiders as pets and thus cure arachnophobia for future generations. noble prize plz
Would have understood if that was in Australia, but England? Pfftttttt
A worker's work is never done Through sleet and hail, wind at gale A spider's web is slowly spun and mailmen deliver without fail But when a young son-of-a-gun comes across the spider's veil, He'll break into a desperate run and let loose a piercing wail The spider thinks he surely won He's made the postman bail And so the postman screamed a ton and left a messy trail.
Would have understood if that was in Australia, but England? Pfftttttt
Because dangerous spiders can only exist in Australia, right? Or, Because phobias are only relevant when the spider's the size of a volleyball, right?
What is the point of replying with "WHAT!!" on a received post?
The article said that the "What" was written by the postman's partner, who ended up braving the spiders gauntlet to deliver the letter.
Why didn't he just remove the spider? What happens if he sees a spider in his house? Does he move out?
Because dangerous spiders can only exist in Australia, right? Or, Because phobias are only relevant when the spider's the size of a volleyball, right?
like 95% of british spiders are completely harmless though the 5% is just uncertainty if we even have ANY dangerous spiders at all
