If you know anything about modern western high schools, you'd know most high schools use songs from popular media in their musical classes. Also the characters [i]are[/i] unique. List another show that has anywhere near the diversity of Glees cast, and state why/how. [u]Also name a modern show that has won more than 19 Emmy's, 4 Golden Globe Awards, 6 Satellite Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, Best Supporting Actress and Actor, and 60+ others.[/u] There's a reason this show is liked by a lot of people.

I'm surprised facepunch is so anti-glee. My understanding was that most people liked it after they gave it a a chance. (I haven't met anyone who hated the show, and those that were tentative about it, now watch it regularly /anecdote) I don't care for the musical portion, and admittedly the characters aren't that love-able (I don't think they really are supposed to be) but I have to admit I like the humor. Not the greatest show ever, but higher quality than your average sitcom IMO

Nothing makes me rage more when im listening to journey and some fucking douche teen say's "oh my god they totally ripped off Glee's song" Needless to say my friend had to hold me back from coating the office walls with said teen douchebags blood.

I went on concert tour last year, to holland. they insisted on playing glee for the whole. fucking. journey. Things could have gone very badly for everyone on that bus.
