Fuck.
They did say in the article that it could come out in the next fiscal year, anytime after April. So who knows.
Is this some sort of sick joke? I was hoping to get it early 2011, now it's delayed by a fucking year?
Would you rather have a new Invisible War?
It seems like this is the new "in" thing for video game developers. Announce a somewhat soon release date, and a month or so later, "Ooohhh no, yeah, we're sorry. We're gonna push this back about a year." It happened to brink, it'll happen to Uncharted 3, and it'll probably happen to ES V: Skyrim, along with any other games that are supposed to be released soon.
"new"?
personally i think this is a good thing. if you listen to the postmortem for dx1, you'll find that if they didn't spend another year editing and polishing, the game would be pretty crap.
Heh, Just seems they want to have their next years earnings look better considering the failure of FF14 after reading about fiscal years.
I like Invisible Wars...
Anyway, I'm going to be excited for when this comes out. A big issue with this game is that people are going to have big expectations.
Lol they're angry that FFXIV was a piece of shit.
Good job guys as if FFXI wasn't an indication of how bad the MMOs you make are.

But to be honest Eidos isn't exactly a developer I trust so if they need to delay it that's fine, but they're pushing it back an entire year to polish it? Sounds like bullshit.

No wait a second it's only delayed until Japan's next fiscal year which starts on April 1, there's no way they're going to delay much more beyond that. Exaggerating things to make them seem worse than they really are, standard operating procedure here in ITN it seems.
