it's pretty nice here, not very much snow at all but it's still kinda cold
it's freezing balls right now where i live. i actually don't mind the cold as much as i mind wet snow. it's one thing to be chilly and another to have half your legs soaked up freezing water.
I remember when we'd have snow from October till April. Now it's amazing if we have snow for a week.
AUSTRALIA IS PRETTY NICE, WE'RE JUST HAVING A NICE ROAST DOWN HERE. COME JOIN US?
40° F on Friday, 5° F today. Minnesota, what are you doing?
I was so pissed on Saturday when I had to work on my car. Shit was cold
AUSTRALIA IS PRETTY NICE, WE'RE JUST HAVING A NICE ROAST DOWN HERE. COME JOIN US?
I might trade being on fire in Australia for boring consistent below-freezing temps with no snow to make up for it in southern Oregon.
What I want to know is how it can be considered "much above normal" to have 71º highs and pouring down rain when that's been the case for mid January in Tennessee for nearly ten years now. It's not 'much warmer than normal'. Being much warmer is the norm.
"It's not abnormal here so nothing is actually happening" - the essence of the squirrel-factor; if you can't see it, it doesn't exist. The increase of 2 degrees celsius average means that even if the temperature doesn't change in your area, it could be changing 15 degrees at the poles. That's a big difference.
I guess it's time to reduce carbon emission which is done by NOBODY on this planet. I beginning to suspect that Global warming is becoming worse.
It was a hot enough summer back in 2012, give us some fucking snow before summer comes again. That Noreaster here in the Northeast US didn't count, either.
Here in az high of 49 low is 27....whaat
Depends where you live in AZ. In Mesa it's 23 F right now at 7:02 in the morning.
remember a year or two ago, a fox reporter commented "Where is your global warming now?" in a snarky "I sure showed YOU!" tone of voice when it snowed a few inches in New York in February
We got roughly two feet of snow where I live (central Utah) a couple of days ago, so far nothing has melted and the highs have been in the low teens.

Cherry picking a result and saying "It's cold as fuck here, therefore global warming isn't happening" is right about as idiotic as saying "It's hot as fuck here, therefore global warming is the culprit." A lot of people (and the media) don't seem to understand that the only reliable information on how global warming (or climate change or whatever bullshit term they come up with) is affecting the climate is over the long-term, not year-by-year. We're talking decades, centuries, or even millenia of trending.
It's colder than it ever has been here in Illinois. Like 13 degrees and every car in the area has a quarter inch of ice on it. It's fucking terrifying.
Lucky you guys, I'm freezing my goddamn arse off here in England.
Depends where you live in AZ. In Mesa it's 23 F right now at 7:02 in the morning.
Glendale here.

It's fucking terrifying.
it was 50 on friday, then we had a lot of freezing rain for a night soon after. There's some areas where the pavement is still coated in ice around here, and Chicago's notorious for just bathing in salt this time of year. I had to work for a half hour this morning just to get the ice and thin layer of crystals off my windows, and there were people on the highway with most of their car made of icicles, it was surreal. Looking out of the windows here at the office, trees are all super glossy with a half inch layer of ice I'm contemplating moving my car away from them now that I think about it [editline]14th January 2013[/editline]
I tend not to pay attention to those kinds of statements. Tempe, arizona here and it's fucking freezing
And I'm just sitting up here in alaska making snowmen on top of my balls
Heat waves kill people. We should propose a bill in the congress to outlaw heat waves.
Christ, no fucking kidding. It feels like spring here. This town is usually frigid in January. I bet it's Ragnarök.
Ohio's weather is always pissed off
still freezing my balls off in Canada
Beautiful day here in Maine today, which is quite unseasonable. Not really that much snow or hellish freezing death this year.
The January icy hell is not as intense as it used to be here in Chicagoland.
This year has been really fucking cold here in Montana, I don't get how we're any -hotter- than normal.
"WHAT HE'S SAYING DOESN'T SUPPORT MY OPINION! I'LL RATE HIM DUMB.
