Belgian study shows circumcision removes sensitivity

Never mind
Makes sense, but no reason to get a painful operation done on you that somewhat reduces sensitivity.
I'd rather use a condom whilst keeping my foreskin.
I personally opted for circumcision plus a vasectomy. No need at all for a condom during sex (which would reduce sensitivity anyway) and I've still got all the anti-STD benefits. They used a laser for the circumcision, and it wasn't painful at all. Only took about a week to recover. The thought of the vasectomy was cringe-worthy but wasn't actually painful either. It also took about a week to recover from.
There's advantages and disadvantages to the both of them. To each his own.

But... Children.

Unless there's something actually wrong with the child or some specific condition for which reason a physician is advising the procedure be done, I'm against it. Let them decide later on.

No, no, no - I meant about the vasectomy. Don't you plan on having children or do you already have?
Overwhelming majority of men in U.S are circumcised. It's a culture thing for sure, and most females in the U.S prefer it.
In the UK it must be different.
But if you look at any dildos or porn here in the U.S -- all of them are circumcised because that's how we do it.
I remember when I played football and there was one kid who wasn't circumcised in the shower -- and he always got made fun of for it.

Oh. I had a sperm sample taken and cryopresevered before the vasectomy.:v:
Oh boy, I'm sure glad that I don't really give a rats ass about circumcision. Happened when I was younger, what can I do about it? Nothing, deal with it. Ya got it? Good for you.
Can we, as men, move on from worrying about penises so god damn much?
Unless you're a micropenis. Then I'd hope to heaven and hell that some sort of something comes along for ye.
In case you ever forget to buy cheese at the store you could just pull back your hood and slather that smegmal goodness all over your toast
works for me

Ohhh... a micropenis.
Wouldn't wish such horror on anyone.
We, the people with normal-sized dicks, foreskin or not, should unite together and form an alliance that can take even the hardest beating.
I was circumcised at birth, and most of the other penises I know of are too.
It sucks, but I don't know any better. If I ever have a kid I will try not to get him circumcised. It's strange how cultures and tradtions differ like this so subtly tho. It's not even a religious thing, just a habitual tradition in the US derived from religious tradition.

Why does it suck? I personally don't know anybody that cares that they're circumcised.
Poor us.
This is hilarious, EVERYONE LIKES WHAT THEY HAVE
what a surprise.

Circumcision reduces the risk of contracting AIDS by 60-70%.
Worthless.

My day is now 10% less good, thanks for the mental image.
Anyway yeah, no. If you wanna have your foreskin cut for stupid reasons, go ahead, your choise. But don't force it upon the children, they'll do whatever they want with their dick when they reach legal age.
Also having a foreskin ain't disgusting. It's pulled back when you're erect and it's not like you can't wash it and what's beneath in the shower, right?

You're countering the World Health Organization with a blog?
I'm surprised they found enough people who can testify to having less-intense sexual pleasure after circumcision. How many people are getting circumcised that late in life?
