Hahaha, you honestly have no friends huh? You're pathetic, humans can be the best thing in the world, and can over love and comfort that transcends everything a mere animal can offer. (User was banned for this post ("Flaming/Trolling." - Seiteki))
Humans are also capable of evil that goes far beyond what any other animal can do.
This thread sure does dreg up the weirdos
Because its wierd to care about animals? what is your problem NoDachi all you've done in this thread is complain about people who actually give a shit unlike yourself.
It seems most facepunchers sympathize with the dog, not the man who died. The fact that the article actually mentions the dog before the owner, just shows that they're trying to appeal to so many animal lovers. I personally find it sad that this man will never return home to his friends and loved ones, that this dog dies is pretty irrelevant compared to the loss of the soldier.

Falling for a simple trashmedia ploy.
Now they are sniffing bombs in heaven...
The soldier was most likely shot by nobody else than
It is far more likely that the dog had a seizure as a result of the shock of being in this stressful situation - a firefight - and the media could not pass up the on the opportunity to sensationalise it and make it into a 'cute' human interest story.
Humans are also capable of evil that goes far beyond what any other animal can do.
Not ferrets. Fucking kleptos

That's very different to the article just being about a dog who died, or a person who died.
Another taliban victory!
Not ferrets. Fucking kleptos
A ferret once managed to bite my genitals. :saddowns: I'm serious.
"My name is B!N4RY and I think comparing humans to animals makes perfect sense"
People can have feelings towards and love (obviously not in that way) an animal (especially a dog) just as much as they can towards other people.
Am I the only one that really hates the "Humans are animals as well!" Argument?
so many deaths this week [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] at least animals arent capable of making things that could destroy everything this world have :v:
What saddens me is, people care more about the dog dieing, than the owner of the dog. It's still sad, the situation, but...still...
But it's sad so people will rate you dumb and then make a generic Bawww comments like every time shit like this happens to animals.
If the subject was instead "Father dies of broken heart after Taliban kills his daughter" or anything like that, it would be just as sad.
Okay... So It's alright for a man to die/have a panic attack/stroke from the shock of loss/losing a loved one or some other traumatic event.. But if a DOG, a ANIMAL, supposedly suffers a similar fate from the loss of loved owner, it's mushy sensationalism? Yes the dog did not die a "broken heart" you fucking idiots, that much is obvious. It is however possible that the dog suffered a traumatic episode after it's owner died, which could've led to a panic attack resulting in death, or shock etc etc. In which case the metaphor "broken heart" is apt.
It's funny how you are the only one apposing this and haven't been rated dumb.
Seizure? Daily mail? The Metro told me they both were gunned down.
Am I the only one that really hates the "Humans are animals as well!" Argument?
No worse than the "sometimes people are mean!" argument.
Someone's parents were too shitty to buy a kid a pet
I've had a pet my entire life, I've never not had a pet in my home. Just saying
Aw man that dog looks cool.
"I don't know about any factual research which would explain forming of strong enough bonds between human and animal so in case it happens over and over I will just call sensationalism, stomp by feet and hold my breath because it's not SCIENTIFIC."
