Shit is hitting the fan real soon.
So basically he didn't say anything and now everyone is angry that he didn't resign, oh boy.
What are they shouting?
He must leave, or he SHALL leave.
What are they shouting?
Translated? something like "He has to go"
What are they shouting?
"He must leave"
What are they shouting?
Translated in Western English as "GET THE FUCK OUT, YOU TWAT"
No he didn't. Look at the crowd. They're pissed.
That's what Al Jazeera said at the bottom, he never said it in the speech. He's still holding power, and people are pissed.
I kinda missed the speech, did he resign his presidency?
I kinda missed the speech, did he resign his presidency?
Nope. I've got a feeling he's either gonna get killed or there's gonna be a Civil War.
I kinda missed the speech, did he resign his presidency?
Well people are kinda pissed off, so.....
Shit is hitting the fan real soon.
Shit hit the fan. The fallout shall come...
Democracy isn't a perfect system of government.
No system is perfect, but democracy is the system that has worked best so far. Pretty much every "modern", well-faring country has a democratic leadership. It's no coincidence that people in countries with a dictatorship have it a lot worse than people in countries with democracy. Democracy creates a competitiveness between political parties, they have to actually do what the people want in order to get re-elected, and people have the ability to choose how their government is going to be run. A government should serve its people, not the other way around. The people rarely benefit from a dictatorship unless the leader truly cares about the people instead of him/herself, and that very rarely happens. Even if the leader is kind and caring at first, power corrupts, and once the leader has gone greedy and stopped caring everything goes to shit, since in a dictatorship this leader gets absolute power until he dies or is overthrown, there are no re-elections. Name one authoritarian government where the people have it good and I'll name at least three where the people have it better.
I kinda missed the speech, did he resign his presidency?
Nope, and the crowd is about to riot I think
What a stubborn little shit.
Just fucking run rampage already.
Holy fuck, watching the speech and square side by side.' It's crazy!
I don't want to see anyone suffer, but they need to riot with the army's help.
Just wait for the protesters to organize, tonight there will be terrible bloodshed.
Shit... I'm scared of what will happen.
this is totally gonna end well. after the people have listened to him they will calm down, go to their houses and watch televisor.
my god the crowds seriously pissed
I think he's going to die. :ohdear:
Civil war would be kind of cool though.
I think he's going to die. :ohdear:
44 Magnum right to the face I reckon.
It is now down to the Military to either tow the line of the Egyptian President, and enforce the 'peaceful' transition to a new government in September, or conduct a Coup d'état to force Mubarak from office. The whole situation in Egypt has proven to be hitherto unpredictable, so this can truly go any way. It certainly is a crucial time for the future of Egypt.
Oh dear.
I think he's going to die. :ohdear:
I'm OK with this.
I think it's time for the Egyptians to really fight back.
44 Magnum right to the face I reckon.
More like 10,000 boots to the face.
More like 10,000 boots to the face.
The crowd already threw all their shoes in the air. :psyduck:
