As if it's our job to verify something you claimed. Don't bitch about being told to argue properly.
It actually IS your job as an American to know your countries laws. 100% IS your job and no one elses. You can hire someone if you dont want to though, its called a Lawyer. Please dont be so sassy and snippy, thanks. "Officer I didnt know I couldnt do that, its not my job to know my rights and laws"

Therefore it's your burden to prove what you said true.

And see what happens when you source your claim? It turns out that you are only kinda right by your own admission, and I haven't even looked into your documentation myself. Thanks for the sources though!

If you're trying to debate this you're doing it very poorly.
let's just invert the situation let's say a bernie sanders rally was shut down by thousands of protesters screaming "VOTE TRUMP". People are injured, the police have to escort people out of the building, all that. What do you think the impact of such an event would be? Do you think that would make people more or less likely to support Bernie Sanders?

I didnt get the laws wrong, only semantics, such as Presidential-Elect not applying yet, but Presidential-Candidate still does and is a federal offense for both regardless. When you think SOMEONE or SOMETHING is wrong do you not try and educating yourself and looking for multiple views or information? You nor starlight were ever gonna look that up and were gonna continuing being naive about it. Its actually on you.

That's how any real argument works and you're acting like it's some grave offense that we wanted you to give proof that what you said is true.

Do you really think any jackoff can get Secret Service? Do you really think presidential runners are not more legally protected with bigger offences for doing shit to them? This isnt like "You cant spit on the sidewalk on tuesdays" type law. Its straight up common knowledge. If you saw my post and thought I was wrong, why not just look yourself and make me look like a HUGE fucking dumbass if I was wrong?

You're right, and so is your original claim, but saying you don't need to cite sources or claims because it's "simple common knowledge that everyone knows" isn't very good debate etiquette. Neither is calling people asking you nicely to source your facts "sassy and snippy".
Just because you say its common knowledge doesn't mean it is. [editline]12th March 2016[/editline] lol what are you even doing, suddenly I hate you now because I wanted a citation? chill
It is common knowledge. Since when was "attacking politicians" not a federal offense? Since when was their such obliviousness to that? Try googling laws, its really easy and the USA has a very easy site to search through any you want. Why would you think I think you hate me for 1 post in this thread, dont pull that boring garbage.

Again it doesn't matter if you think it's common knowledge, or how easy it is to find, during an argument if you say something is true, you need to provide a source for it. Why is this so hard for you?

The thing is, what I had to cite for you is basic laws anyone can google in 2 seconds, and you are from the USA as is Starlight where its literally YOUR jobs to know them yourself. Im citing shit that I didnt even say myself nor claim, a Law did years ago when it was made.

It's not our job to have some sort of innate knowledge of your argument. It's your job, as the opposing party, to PRESENT THE INFORMATION. That's how debates work. Hell, that's how most things of that style work.
I'd like to know more about him before I form an opinion one way or another, including his motive.
Hmm...
Also, as I've said before, this is a very natural reaction given what Trump and his supporters have been peddling. He's not an animal. We don't even know anything about him.
Hmm...
Bunch of fucking animals.
I guess it's O.K if you don't like Trump. When can I hope to get the official Govna verdict on attempted assault being animalistic/wrong?

Doesnt mean nor do I think you should know all of them, no one can, and those who delve more into American law have to go to school for years and years and a license to practice it. But it still IS your job to know the rules and laws of the country you are living in. Especially the USA when our entire database of laws are online which you clearly have access to. You being lazy doesnt change that fact. Whos job is it then to know laws and rights? Just lawyers?
Hmm... Hmm... I guess it's O.K if you don't like Trump. When can I hope to get the official Govna verdict on attempted assault being animalistic/wrong?
It's okay if you don't intend to assault somebody; i.e. if you're just trying to ruin the speech, hassle/heckle Trump, etc. We don't know if we was trying to "assault" Trump though, or murder him, or what. So you'll get the verdict when we actually learn more about what exactly was going on with him and what his intentions were. I love how you conveniently gloss over how Trump's supporters were behaving though. I mean at least this guy is still just an unknown dude who jumped over a fence and tried to rush the stage; the supporters themselves however meanwhile called for his blood and acted like vicious herd animals the moment he did so, and clearly are not peaceful, nor do they have peaceful intentions. That's not my opinion, that's what happened in the video-- which everyone can watch (and should watch) for themselves.

He said you were bitching only after you tried to defend that making claims without backing them up is kosher.
I'm not lazy, it's part of how arguing works, dude, jesus. It isn't my job to find this shit out for myself. :v:
It is your job actually if its laws. Apparently Law=everything else in your mind. Knowing laws and your rights comes down to you at the end of the day. See. Its not hard finding laws, heres Ohios for Incest. Actor is the victim’s “natural or adoptive parent, step-parent guardian, custodian, or person in loco parentis of the other person”. 2-8 years
I live in Chicago. There are numerous people on my Facebook feed actually encouraging this behavior. Honestly, the reactions to this event remind me more of nazism than Trump ever has.

Also i don't know why you're bother with the incest thing, that was a ridiculously fake law I made up specifically to point out how flawed it is to say that you don't need to cite laws that are supposedly "common knowledge"
It really is your job to know your countries laws if you live in them. I'm not lazy because I don't research every claim on FP. You are defending your laziness to make claims without actually having to back them up. This is basic arguing 101.

Are you actually trying to explain that this dude jumped over a fence and lunged at Trump with "peaceful intentions"??
