oh then in that case, definitely worse than isis lol
These aren't terrorists, they're citizens. These aren't comparable situations, the fuck are you on about.
yeah but that doesn't mean you have a right to smash shit or harass people
His supporters have done it before to people at their rallies, once to a black lady and another to a Muslim guy. Violence/harassment and incitement at Trump rallies is nothing new. Sorry, but he talked a tough game, his supporters ate that bullshit of his up, now they've got to deal with people who actually are tough and are willing to fight back against them to prove it. I'm totally fine with this so long as they don't go too overboard with it. The smashing cars situation has thankfully ended, but that's an example of taking things too far. So long as they keep it limited against Trump and his followers, then there's no issue. Those people have ass-backwards beliefs, whether it's about torturing prisoners, throwing out/banning Muslims and putting them all on national lists, etc. Again, if you want to talk a tough game, you better be able to back it up. Or else you better just be indifferent to your fate and the consequences that await you when you piss a bunch of people off. With views like the aforementioned ones, who is honestly surprised this happened? It was just a matter of time.
Silencing the voice of someone you don't like with the threat of violence is bad, regardless of who that person is.
Funny, they've had no problem doing this. It's fighting back against troublemakers who made trouble in the first place-- not "silencing". If you think the views these people hold are acceptable in a supposedly free and democratic society with American ideals about tolerance and acceptance, you seriously need to reevaluate your involvement with reality. Watch lists for Muslims. Mexicans supposedly bringing rape and crime into the country en masse to the point where it necessitates a gigantic wall being built that Mexico itself will pay for (as if lol). Killing the families of ISIS fighters regardless of their involvement. THAT is insanity, and it needs to be stopped. You have a responsibility if you're an American to oppose this kind of bullshit.
No one deserves harassment because of your political affiliations. That's so fucking stupid
why not? politics are literally the ruleset that guidelines society, and if the politics you support are socially regressive like trump's, that classifies you as a serious, textbook misanthrope

I am really just tired of seeing the same fucking ideology every single fucking time only swapping whose the victim and whose the aggressor and using it to justify intolerance and violence.
These aren't terrorists, they're citizens.
I honestly am tired of this. I am really just tired of seeing the same fucking ideology every single fucking time only swapping whose the victim and whose the aggressor and using it to justify intolerance and violence.
So am I, mate.
People shouting "Trump has small hands!" they're using what equivalates to a small dick meme
I honestly am tired of this.
I honestly am tired of this. I am really just tired of seeing the same fucking ideology every single fucking time only swapping whose the victim and whose the aggressor and using it to justify intolerance and violence.
This. This a million times. I can't believe these imbeciles don't realize that they're just the mirror reflection of what they despise.
if 'tolerance' is tolerating racist, xenophobic nationalistic bullshit then color me intolerant buddy
People like you deserve Trump. You deserve to sit on the other end of your own ideology of "no bad tactics just bad targets", hopefully you would learn from that but I'd doubt it.
you're god damn right, and if it were up to me there'd be protests this massive at every single GOP event
Then what, the polling stations? The homes of people that you disagree with? It's fucking disgraceful.
if 'tolerance' is tolerating racist, xenophobic nationalistic bullshit then color me intolerant buddy
Nope Still makes you intolerant. Who would've thought? lol
What does this mean for America? This can be interpreted to be either a boost or a downfall for him, but what if he wins the whole thing?
Nope Still makes you intolerant. Who would've thought? lol
lmfao that's literally what i just said
why not? politics are literally the ruleset that guidelines society, and if the politics you support are socially regressive like trump's, that classifies you as a serious, textbook misanthrope
If you support physical violence because the victims disagree with your policies, that classifies you as a textbook fascist.
What does this mean for America? This can be interpreted to be either a boost or a downfall for him, but what if he wins the whole thing?
expect riots in almost every major city
expect riots in almost every major city
on a civil-war type scale?
Holy fuck, way to give Trump a huge amount of votes you idiots. Go around and vandalize some more property because you are "protesting" Trump and trying to find a way to justify violence as supporting Bernie Sanders.
oh, well, I'm glad that even though the only thing this show of incompetence has accomplished is paint Trump's opposition as a bunch of hooligans, at least you think it's morally justifiable I'll just phone up the media and instruct them to inform the citizens of this country that, yes, even though this looks like an angry mob harassing people for having political views that disagree with their own, Govna says it's morally justified so no one should care!
You need to pay closer attention here: I'm not just saying it, all of these people who have flocked to the streets are saying the same thing as well. And they're doing more than saying, they're doing. As I have said before:
Watch lists for Muslims. Mexicans supposedly bringing rape and crime into the country en masse to the point where it necessitates a gigantic wall being built that Mexico itself will pay for (as if lol). Killing the families of ISIS fighters regardless of their involvement.
How in the name of holy fucking space Jesus can anybody think these kinds of views are remotely acceptable and should be tolerated? I'm sorry, but for democracy to exist, there need to be limits. And in order for the United States to continue to be the supposed free and embracing country that it is, these kinds of views that Trump and his followers have are absolutely incompatible with that ethos. They're the ones being intolerant; these people are just pushing back and being justifiably intolerant of their intolerance. You can call it whatever you want to and believe whatever you want about it. Fact is, these people have shown up to protest and fight back because they know better... there's a lot of them, and they're not just going to go away at this point in time either lol.
im saying that he cant even stand up to some angry citizens (which is something a president must be capable of) so how can i expect him to stand up to the terrorists? i'll answer that. he can't, because hes weak. all bark, no bite.
You serious? There's a huge difference between combat operations and practicing basic fucking risk management at a political rally.
on a civil-war type scale?
It would be between Occupy Wall Street and Baltimore riots.
Holy fuck, way to give Trump a huge amount of votes you idiots. Go around and vandalize some more property because you are "protesting" Trump and trying to find a way to justify violence as supporting Bernie Sanders.
This is the issue: what's needed here now more than ever is organization. The vandalism needs to be curtailed, the rapturous energy which these people have needs to be given structure and directed meaningfully rather than just let loose. Otherwise, you are going to have wide-scale riots, and in the end, they won't accomplish anything. Limited directionism is what's needed. I don't know what's going to happen, but damn will it be interesting to watch unfold.
What a bunch of nimrods, they're feeding Trumps rhetoric. "Look at these hateful people, they threatened the safety of my supporters forcing me to cancel a rally! This is the state of the left, it's a mess. They hate us, despite us having done nothing wrong! It is a tremendous hate. You see them vandalizing cars, it's terrible. Absolutely terrible."
I expect both Hilary and Bernie to shame these rioters. But I kinda see more events of this type in the future.

That's what scares me. Even when Trump is gone and all this bullshit is over, all of you people who think you have the right to control what other people think and say will still be here. Here's a little tip for you. The fascists knew they were right too.

Beat them at the voting booth. That is democracy. Vandalizing property and assaulting people with different views is fucking fascist bullshit that has absolutely no place in the US.
I expect both Hilary and Bernie to shame these rioters. But I kinda see more events of this type in the future.
the rioting part was really really small scale.. there was a lot of shouting between police but only saw about 3-4 people get arrested at least in the larger groups, and that was from touching an officer inside the protestors were just doin the ol protestin before trump showed up, they paid for their tickets then just lots of shouting and the odd couple throwing a punch before cops stepped in
