Must explain to my friend its time to stop playing Mw2. Seems halo might hit the top. [editline]04:33PM[/editline] Or valve :downs:
*sigh* I'm gonna miss Bungie when they get ruined by Activision as well.
Blizzard is being ruined as well.
Well, let's hope their parents won't agree with this though, since it's most likely they who have to pay.
They will buy it, believe me.
*sigh* I'm gonna miss Bungie when they get ruined by Activision as well.
I remember They said halo was being continued by 343. which is made up of old bungie employees. :downs:
In these trying times, Valve is our only true salvation.
I would LAUGH if Respawn Entertainment did a deal with Valve or something and together created a masterpiece that would decimate Activision. I would die laughing. Silly Activision... Wish no kid would buy their upcoming titles so they would learn to hear the comunity instead of doing it all for the money.
FYI Pacther is an idiot, don't listen to him.
I hope it does happen tbh, because I can hardly see M$ letting 'em do it without a catch.
Fuck activision, they suck. Go bankrupt already.
Fuck activision, they suck. Go bankrupt already.
That won't happen thanks to idiots and fanboys.
Replay value bad! Buy same game every year! Jackass.
This just in : To make more money get rid of 90% of our community!
newsflash, 90% of the community are 12 year old cunts that will beg their mommies to pay for this shit.
Fuck, these guys make EA look nice.
This guy has made fucked up claims before. Ignore him. [editline]01:19AM[/editline] Microsoft has a thing where if the game you're playing has a monthly fee, you don't have to pay for gold. Just a fun fact.
No one is going to pay to play anything but MMOs.

I love how they keep pushing this shit, as if they believe reeeeeeeeally hard then gamers will pay for this shit.
So what is Activision's current net worth?
You've heard of that membership plan rumor going around regarding Call of Duty games, right? Well it seems that we now have another "evidence" pointing to that. In the form a video in Modern Warfare 2 no less. This video was recorded by a member of 360Junkies, showing what is believed tobe the sub-plan being payable through MS Points. Now, this of course is not confirmed in any way so we'll be tagging it as a rumor for now. The video did have this note, though, of the multiplayer session the player was trying to get into: “I was trying to join a friend’s session on MW2 the other day and had this screen pop up. It clearly says at the top of this menu: ‘Modern Warfare 2 Membersh’, in which we can confidently assume that the last word is “Memberships”. If you’ll notice at the bottom is an option to “Add Microsoft Points”, clearly indicating that this was intended to be a menu for purchasing different levels of Membership, presumably memberships would have been offered in a variety of durations.” Video follows below:
View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=7Nz_BJe8rDY
You underestimate the hoards of teens that will still buy games with this.
You mean all the 12 year olds buying black ops
You mean all the 12 year olds buying black ops
They would buy it because it has "Call of Duty" as it's name.
dlc
To be fair, some DLC is handled quite well.
People still play consoles online? I had hoped gamers would grow up by now.
Why don't companies use Battlefield 2 as a model? It's a very basic game that is still alive after how many other games in the series? It's like four years old. Yet modern games, nobody plays anymore. Who plays COD4? Who plays Halo 3? If something like BF2 launched today I would eagerly buy up the addon packs. But they don't use it as a model because nowadays when games suck they fail flat on their face. Most 'good' games from back in the day had a lot of annoying flaws and problems that just ended up adding together to make a really good game. Halo had a shitload of flaws but it's a great game. It's like all of the development time is spent on 'new technology' or 'fancy features' that take too much time that end up failing because they don't have enough time to develop them. [editline]02:09PM[/editline]
Fuck, these guys make EA look nice.
EA's gotten better. I can't think of an awful thing they've done recently.
If Activision influences Blizzard to make not-WoW games (SC2, D3) P2P, I'm going to be quite pissed. Demerge with Activision.
I really don't think hordes of 12 year olds will cause this thing to go through, seeing as how they are not the consoles major demographic. People are too busy jerking off over stereotypes and elitism to do anything about this kind of shit. That is our real problem.
I will give up on Activision if they dare to make us 360 users pay.
Let me know when Activision has a game worth paying for.
Singularity, the vast majority of their back catalogue.
Internet> Xbox Live subscription > 59.99 dollar game > (imagine) $50 subscription FUCK YOU ACTIVISION. FUCK YOU.
Rather sad that such extremes are the only thing that will sway your opinion.
The whole MW2 game itself, along with the overpriced DLC kind of killed everyone's hope in Activision. Pay to Play would kind of be the kiss of death to it. They'd still make money off of all the kids, but they'd never make a good game again.
