• Let him arrest me, former Trump aide Sam Nunberg says he will refuse mueller subpoena

Why the fuck did this schmuck agree to an MSNBC interview? It literally only had the possibility of going bad or worse, and it ended up going worse.
I think Nunberg is a good metric of the sheer sense of dread and desperation shared by Trump's cronies right now. The only one for whom it hasn't sunk in yet is Trump, buoyed as he is by his delusions of exceptionalism and invincibility. Watching those interviews I got the same feeling I did watching footage of Bud Dwyer's public suicide.
I legitimately cannot figure out what his huge problem with the subpoena is and why he isn't complying.
My sense of it all is that he thought trivializing the Mueller program and pretending it wasn’t worth his time to comply would pay off in the long run because, according to the Trump echo chamber, the probe is just a witch hunt. Unfortunately for him the gamble didn’t pay off because 1) a huge number of people take the Mueller probe very seriously and don’t have time for this showboating bullshit, 2) Mueller himself doesn’t have a sense of humor and everyone knows it, hence why the world at large reacted with amusement and pity for the moron who clearly doesn’t know who he’s dealing with, and 3) Nunberg’s own nervousness was blatantly obvious throughout his interviews. He knows what’s coming, and he can’t even keep up the act. Bottom line, spending too much time in the Trump orbit seriously clouds your senses and distorts your reality. Nunberg seriously misread the situation and completely fucked himself over.
With all the people dressing up as Trump everywhere to mock him, I would not be surprised if it were easy to hire one or ten of them to be stand-ins :v: [editline]5th March 2018[/editline] Best part is, while being the double, they can still mock Trump and no one will know
Honestly, after he was "attacked" on stage during the campaign, it wouldn't surprise me to learn he has many body doubles.
What would happen if Mueller was assassinated tomorrow? Would this automatically remove Trump or something?
That guy reminds me of kids who get caugt red handed and don't have a way out and just try to pretend tat nothing happened because they believe that if they pretend long enough it will be over.
