These flight recorders have every single piece of information about the airplane. The gauges, airspeed, altitude, throttle position, flaps, etc. Re-constructionists can re-make the exact conditions, and gauges in a simulator and bring in other pilots and have them fly it to determine if the plane could've been saved.
