• Google joins Windows 8 browser war with plans for Metro Chrome

Metro could be much better on non-touchscreen computers if they bothered to add context menus and controls centralized around the mouse cursor rather than the edges of the screen. I mean, the interface makes sense for a touch screen I suppose, but when you're using a mouse, it just take way more effort to do some simple stuff (mostly due to lack of context menus in metro environment and the general lack non-touch alternatives [in that, many of the features designed to be effect with touch don't have alternatives designed to be effective with a mouse]). Anyway, this is good news, even if it may never effect me, it's good to know people will have plenty of options when it comes to web browsing in Metro.

Applications are Programs. Though I do agree that "apps" is now just a buzzword and rather annoying.
Awesome. I can't wait to see what Google does with Metro. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] If they do anything different anyway.

"Hey Stephen, did you check out this hilarious fart prog I just installed on my computer?"
