These things are nearly as large as my EpiPen. Fuck that shit.
fun fact: when those bees do that, they get incredibly close to a horrible suffocating melty death from the heat generated by their wings
Hive mentality means they literally don't give a fuck. If the cost of saving the hive from certain, horrible death is 20+ sweaty bees, that is a cost that the hive will take on without a second thought.

A friend of mine is calling this whole thing an "Apocrite Airstrike" after I said this was a well coordinated multi-hive hornet attack.

There's a video on LiveLeak showing some wounds people got. Literally holes all over a guy's arm.
The Japanese have hornets that are also this big
Holy fucking shit, I don't know what i would do if I ever saw one of those!

Run. Hide. Arm yourself. Pray.
Just can't get over how large they are. Plus they attack in seams and can travel at 20kmph.
Somebody tape scorpions to the underside of pigeons to create a counter attack

I love bee's
they're the cleanest and one of the most useful insects out there. I'm perfectly fine around (normal suburban bees), and they don't bother me at all, it's great :v: The nasty breeds of bee's can and will mess you up, but, the typical bee I can totally walk near a swarm and be totally fine.
Wasps however are assholes, You fuck them up, before they can fuck you up. Get an electric swatter and some armor.

You know, this is a good case for the earth wanting to be rid of us.
Up in Alaska we have what we call the Wood Wasp, also known as the Horntail. Not nearly as big but these damn things...

They don't usually sting unless they are provoked but I actually had one run into my face and give me a partial black eye. On of my family friends got stung on his hand and he said the pain of that stinger is like someone shoving a pencil into your hand.

Imagine one hitting your windshield oh god
I hit a bigass hornet (bout twice the size and weight of a bumblebee) on my motorcycle a while back doing 70km/h. Felt like having a big rock thrown right at my chest.
Sometimes I feel like humanity should just sign a bunch of truces and peace treaties so we can turn our collective industrial capacity to war with things like Massive Chinese Wasps and Brain Amoebas.

My arm is suddenly very itchy.
Damn, not even their fancy wall can protect them now
Wasps are useless anyway. Just get rid of them already.
NOOOOOOOO WASPS!! HeheheHEH! Bleepboop!
The biggest surprise I have out of all of this was that they weren't discovered in Australia
