I've honestly got a bit of carryover as well. Creepy crawlies in general tend to get me. Spiders are just the biggest trigger I've got.
Same here. The worst for me are spiders, wasps, bees, and crane flies. Some I'm fine with though. I am perfectly fine with flies, potato bugs, and caterpillars, and even enjoy catching them.
Link?
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c0a_1380805029 38 seconds, graphic warning, it ain't pretty
Wasp are just assholes.
I propose we rename this species to Seres carnifex. It's just that damn scary.
Can you imagine swatting one of those badboys there'd be enough goo to cover a slice of toast
We're going to need to start printing larger news papers.

Doesn't help that we get both wolf spiders and brown recluses here. And yes, wasps make me wig out. A week or so ago one hitched a ride on my side as I was walking to class. I nearly flipped my shit.
Welp.
I wonder if the camera man was laughing as he took that photo
Just send Lo Wang in. He'll take them out with his fists of fury

Jesus, FUCK "Heinrich! Grab the Flammenwerfer! I'll buy some tickets. And get your piggy bank!"
Fucking Hell, how the fuck can something cut holes that fucking deep.
The wounds themselves are kinda small, the combination of swelling and the stinger venom cause the wound to expand. Being lit on fire would probably hurt less.
It's times like these I'm thankful that Michigan loves to give such brutal winters.
There comes a point where a wasp gets so big that it should probably be considered a new term entirely

It looks like Suzumebachi spread from Japan to China.
I am happy knowing any kind of insect that large would freeze its ass off where I live.
The biggest surprise I have out of all of this was that they weren't discovered in Australia
Australia actually doesn't have that much typically deadly fauna compared to the rest of the world. They have a number of fairly specialised ones and relatively toxic spiders. But as far as predators or the sheer amount of them, they do often lag behind places like the amazon, central africa and even colder regions like Europe. Why else do you think they have so many issues with invasive species, who are completely nonplussed by native fauna.

The biggest pest (at least in the South) is just European Wasps which you find everywhere. Little bastards are annoying but not usually a huge deal.
good lord the size of the stingers are horrible
Oh god why did i look at the op image eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Joke Head
Well I could probably be included in this, I got the joke but I didn't see any reason against throwing in some interesting info.
