Correct. Correct. Correct. Correct.
Did I mention you are correct?
Stop kissing everyone's ass
You're just butthurt because its Muslim Terrorist Extremist Arab Filth
Yeah seriously. Why does she think she's above the rules?
That dress code is placed on everyone, I'm sure there are other staff members who want to wear something, but they're not bitching about it.
This isn't a religious issue at all. All workplaces are allowed to enforce a dress code, and the employee has to abide by this if they want to work there. What is so fucking hard to understand about this?
What, she's religious? Yeah, so are millions of other people. People need to understand that they can't just go around and ask people to make exceptions for them.
This isn't a colossal exception, this isn't her getting a huge amount of power.
This is about seeing if she gets to wear her hat, because her religion teaches that she is to wear it.
As I said, if she is a GOOD DOCTOR, then why would give a flying fuck what she is wearing on her head.
It's not even a hat god damn its like a hair band
And like I said, almost ALL hospitals have PLENTY of Muslim Women wearing those. Yet they don't say anything.
Why should ONE hospital start getty pissy all of a sudden?
Wearing hats inside is rude
That is how we will win the war Azib.

A bunch of pretentious little nerds on an internet forum don't draw the line.
Society as a whole does.
When the majority of hospitals start firing people for it THEN you draw the line.
I don't know about you, but if I was in the hospital, wouldn't want her near me. The scarf came from her home, it's not sterilized. Who knows what it was in contact with before she came to work?
lol you don't know shit about people working in hospitals do you
You're supposed to bring even your scrubs from home.
[editline]06:18PM[/editline]
As long as you're wearing them gloves whenever you do something then it's alright. Why do you think doctors even wear them?
FYI Americans, in England most Motorbikers wear helmets because they're fucking safe.
Yeah they do here too for the most part. The ones who wear no helmets or the skull caps are considered idiots here too. There just happens to be this bizarre cultural thing coupled with chopper type bikes that makes them more common stateside.

Her skin also came from her home
as did her coat, scrubs, shirt, and shoes.

How is agreeing with an opinion, that correlates to my own opinion, ass kissing.
I don't even like the mod I quoted, just his opinion on this.

Hmm

Apparently hospitals aren't nearly as sterile as a thought then. Alright nevermind that point.
But I still think it's the employer's right to decide on what attire is and isn't allowed.

is a god damn head scarf really that bad?
It falls under the category of 'no headgear'.
it's a health hazzard.
how about I don't use soap and become a doctor it's my religion.
It's a health hazzard.

In what way is it a health hazard at all?
It's a health hazzard.

uhhhh
what?
This is why everyone should be atheist.
Everyone is mad because this headscarf is there through religion.
"Oh what if my religion says I have to wipe shit all over my face lolol"
But here, it just happens that its in the religion and its not harming anyone SO WHY NOT?
It's like saying "My religion says I have to wash my thumb at least 12 times a day" is PERFECTLY FINE because it isn't HARMING ANYONE.
NO. THE HEADSCARF DOESN'T NEED TO BE STERILE. ACTUALLY THE WHOLE DOCTOR'S ATTIRE IS BROUGHT FROM HOME. TO THE CONTRARY, THE SCARF ACTUALLY KEEPS HER HAIR BACK
Did you not read the following post? I covered this.
The point was that jobs have a very basic right to control the type of clothing you wear and that you can legally be fired for failing to follow set protocol.
I chose a job where the dress code was of chief importance. A job is a job, bud. Largely they are all covered by relatively similar restrictions in the field of firing.
(With the exception being government jobs. Hard as hell to fire government employees.)
i didn't read the following post because i wasn't interested in how you justify that obnoxiously bad example.
judging by how you justify that example in this post that post would probably be just as bad as your overall argument.
10 pages of accusations of racism that don't exist.
It's not sanitary. It's much like somebody who prepares your food.
When I go into a restaurant and I see somebody in the back with their hood up or a big hat on, I usually leave. Doctors wear their hair up outside the OR, and they contain it in the OR.
Whatever, glad to see the clinic stick to their decision rather than revise it after a bunch of angry teenagers on the internet say it's religiously intolerant.
I hate the scarfs and I think that religion (or at least these type of customs) is dumb, but I wouldn't take the job if I was her
Only in Texas, a nurse at my moms hospital is muslim and wears the traditional wear.

God damn it it's just as sanitary as any other doctor
Do you think doctors put their clothes through some sort of sterilizer?
If anything, its MORE sanitary because it prevents her hair from getting in the way.

this is the second time you said it. It still isn't true
are you kidding?
I'm probably older then you.
A god came down to me, and told me I must break every US law. Now, considering freedom of religion, it is now legal for me to break every law for the sake of my religion. Thx

It isn't any less sanitary than any other piece of clothing a doctor is wearing. Also the world isn't as sterile as you think it should be.
