What are you going to do with a standalone optic without a way to attach it to the gun? That bit of metal on the side of the receiver is the Russian optic mount.
yes, and he realizes that. but he wants russian scopes that bolt directly onto that mount, as opposed to something like an eotech, bolted onto a railmount that's bolted on to that sidemount.

Which again are still produced and still available. He's complaining about the mount. Both of them are.

So either Sector 7 was bitching about scopes (wrong) or bitching about mounts (also wrong). Oscar Lima Echo was bitching about mounts (wrong). The guns come with the side rail to attach the side mounting optics, which can be bought. Unless they're mad because Kalash USA isn't shipping them with $300 scopes, in which case they can just be mad, because nobody does that for any high production retail rifle.

Congrats on linking aftermarket scopes that aren't made for kalashnikovs, you're really proving my point here. Kalashnikov produced scopes and scope mounts would be a lot more interesting.
I was never talking about the mounts that are on the gun, perhaps you should read through things a few times before you want to talk down on people? Aks have always had the mounting points, the scope mounts and scopes are separate hardware.
Are you high.

Those aren't aftermarket either, those are Izvhevsk/Tula military scopes. lmfao. All Russian side mount optics are interchangeable between rifles with that rail system. Most of them are designed for the SVD platform.

?????????
Those last two are very specifically for AK mounts the former two are compatible with most ak-pattern mounts.

Bottom line is he was bitching about the mounts, got called out and is now trying to say he never meant the mounts while maintaining an air of superiority (while still being wrong) even though he and Sector 7 were both obviously complaining about the mounts and just didn't bother to actually look. Now he didn't bother to look at the scopes page, is wrong again, and will move on to claiming he meant something else.

It's amazing how much you care about whether people are right or not. I know the aks have the mounting points for the scope, and was talking about the side mounted scopes. If original scopes are still being produced like sector 7 hoped for then everything good. Fine. Nice to hear. There's really no reason to act like an asshole over it.

I care when someone who's flatly wrong launches into being a dickhead to someone who's not and tries to act like they didn't really mean what they said when they get called out. If you said "oh I see" in the first place it might be different but you tried to correct purvisdavid without even looking at the picture he posted, then tried to argue with me when corrected. There's one proven solution to the problem you're having and it's "don't talk about shit you have no idea about".

People hate being told they're wrong.
what do you even need optics for

Ok, I'll make sure to remember how much this means to you next time you switch over to posting without caps and throwing lmao lol and bitch around.
what do you even need optics for
They make passable shot glasses in the field, and can be used for bird spotting in emergencies.

Maybe you could think before you post.

Here's what looks like an American made copy of a Russian 1000 meter scope.

Here's an NPZ produced scope from Russia.

Like this
Like seriously how could you not read or look at that fucking image.
Like holy shit how dense are you, he wants the sidemounting fucking optics, they have become rare and expensive as fuck and the only alternative is more rail bullshit.
Expensive? Yes. Rare? Fuck no.
http://kalinkaoptics.com/
And if the actual Russian optics are too expensive just get a picatinny mount that mounts to the side rail and holy shit, a stable platform for rail mounted optics on an AK. There's also railed receiver covers that mount onto where the rear sight normally goes that are perfectly stable. Both of those are perfectly acceptable for FSB operators so there's no reason they can't be acceptable for literally everyone else.
Eww, foregrips are like the fedora of rifles
No.

That looks more retarded than a normal donkey dick grip, somehow
I do want to thank you guys for those links, I was thinking about saving up for one of those optics but didn't know where to start looking.
I do want to thank you guys for those links, I was thinking about saving up for one but didn't know where to start looking.
Check out local gun shops as well, you can get moderately cheap AK's still. I regret not getting an AK underfolder when I had the chance.
That looks more retarded than a normal donkey dick grip, somehow
Nothing can be worse than 'tactical' makeup. I'll take that bulge over anything else.
I don't understand why people talk shit about vertical grips, if you don't like them then don't have them holy shit. I like them because my wrist was crushed and healed funny and they make it easier to shoot because I don't need to bend my wrist.
I get really tired of people going "ahurr hurr nice tacticool shit u faggot" just because I like the look of rails and I use a vertical grip. Maybe go fuck yourself? Maybe it's my rifle and I'll put dildos all over it and bedazzle that motherfucker if I want to?
I put a foregrip on my AR-15 because it came with a quad rail that was awful to hold while shooting since it heated up fast.
I put a foregrip on my AR-15 because it came with a quad rail that was awful to hold while shooting since it heated up fast.
Yeah I have a foregrip on my AR too. Just a short nubby one. Works great.
I put a foregrip on my AR because it's easier to hold.
I put a foregrip on my AR because it's easier to hold.
Yup. More ergonomic.
Aren't some AK 47 cheaper than some pistols ?
Aren't some AK 47 cheaper than some pistols ?
Yes. My AK was like $500. There are tons of handguns more expensive than that.
