I feel like a candidate should have a major spot in the final elections if they have more than 40% support of any one party.
They have the ability to run and do so, however they lose the party support making it easier for the opposition to win
I'd rather use my vote for something like Hillary than throw it away and have Trump or another maniac win. Tbh I've said it before but there's too much on the line "to show your dissatisfaction".
Thing is the whole " The Devil I know is better than the Devil I don't " going around with Trump Vs Hillary and to be fair I hope'd you guys pick Trump over Cruz I think he is the worst of the 3
They have the ability to run and do so, however they lose the party support making it easier for the opposition to win
I can see a sizable chunk of Bernie supporters not ever voting for Hilary and even siding with Trump.
You're the reason why we have only two parties.
Great, I don't care right now. I'd care more if warmongering maniacs weren't running on the Republican side. You can put your feel good vote in for whatever Third Party you want but I don't want to chance any of the Republicans taking power now. Maybe 4 or 8 years ago would have been a different story.

It's pure senseless fear mongering.

You can say what you want about Clinton but I firmly believe she is not as unhinged as the Republican candidates. I'll take my chances with her.

[editline]28th February 2016[/editline]
'Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.'
Vote for that and feel good about yourself.
Your vote is your voice. Vote Gary Johnson or Jill Stein(if the Green Party is on the ballot in your state) to show your dissatisfaction with the political system. 1% of the vote went to the Libertarians in 2012, the most any third party received since the Reform Party in the 90's. Obama was clearly the better choice, he had no scandals surrounding him and no shady past and still had a favorable public opinion. Romney while slightly out of touch with middle class and lower class Americans was more moderate then he showed if you looked at his past as Governor. Neither of them were clearly far left/right like what we have now. There is a bubble surrounding D.C with the growing extremism and unaffiliated and independent voters are increasing nationally. Imagine how many other people are saying "My vote doesn't matter..." across the nation, potentially millions. If the Libertarians or Green Party get even close to 5% of those people come next election the parties will look at that and say "Holy shit this 5% could make or break us if there is a small margin difference in the polls!"
and what if you have disagreements with Gary Johnson or Jill Stein? The green party wants an open-border policy, I can't vote for that even if I like other policies of theirs.
Hilary learned her foreign policy from Henry Kissinger... and takes pride in that. [editline]28th February 2016[/editline] Vote for that and feel good about yourself.
Like that quote has any substance in the year 2016. Also you're attributing the quote to Hillary Clinton because she "learned foreign policy" from the guy who said it? Seriously? Also that quote has been attributed to him in a book so take the veracity of it with a grain of salt.
and what if you have disagreements with Gary Johnson or Jill Stein? The green party wants an open-border policy, I can't vote for that even if I like other policies of theirs.
Then don't vote for them. If you don't like any of the candidates running then simply don't vote, but don't complain when someone you don't like gets in. Personally I'm going with a ABC plan. Three candidates, A, B, and C. If A doesn't get the nomination I'll vote B and if B doesn't I'll vote C who is sure as hell going to get the nomination for his party.

A third party isn't going to get into office tomorrow but if you keep worrying about only tomorrow, then next year will always be fucked.
Hillary is unelectable in the general, i hope the dnc realizes this soon
Hillary is polling better than Trump I thought though?
Hillary is polling better than Trump I thought though?
She wins in 3 of 4 RCP polls and so does betnie but bernie has higher margins of winning
She's also currently just competing with someone who is focusing on the issues, rather than her history.
She's also currently just competing with someone who is focusing on the issues, rather than her history.
If Bernie was willing to get down and dirty instead of being the gentlemen he would have enough ammunition to fill up a chaingun and mow down Hillary with all her past deeds.
She wins in 3 of 4 RCP polls and so does betnie but bernie has higher margins of winning
She's also winning majority of the Democratic polls, so Bernie isn't an option.
She wins in 3 of 4 RCP polls and so does betnie but bernie has higher margins of winning
That doesn't sound unelectable to me.
You Americans really have no clue what's actually best for you lot And neither do Clinton or Trump
You Americans really have no clue what's actually best for you lot And neither do Clinton or Trump
We use elections to find out what the majority of people feel is best. However, you being Italian you must know more about living in the US and being a US citizen than I or other US citizens do.
I don't think unelectable means what you think it does.
In most other head to head match ups from RCP she loses against all other GOP competitors. I honestly don't believe trumps gonna be the nomination, and if he is, he'll likely beat clinton if she's nominated too. Unless something major changes they most certainly will be the nominees. Those polls show Sanders losing or cutting it close as well. [editline]29th February 2016[/editline] I wouldn't consider that the best view of the all the polls http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_presidential_race.html
