I thought GTA IV was a step in the right direction.
if you didn't have fun with GTA IV then you are probably clinically depressed
I hope it's console only so none of you evil PC pirates can ruin Rockstar :smug:
Free running on gtaiv is pretty cool.

Consoles dont stop pirates you moron.
I'm probably the only one that preferred the semi-"realistic" atmosphere of GTAIV.
Anyway I wonder what we will get to play as this time.
As long as the pc port is better than gta4 one, I don't care if it's more sandboxy or more serious.
damnit big smoke i killed you in the last mission why the fuck are you still alive
The bullets didnt penetrate his fat ass.
I want them to go back to their San Andreas roots. The crazy Easter eggs and just plain crazy little additions made that game shine. It was so vast and huge too. I got YEARS of great play out of that game and if I didn't grow up I probably would still be playing it to this day.
BRB plugging in my PS2 again.
I don't think i've ever been disappointed by a rockstar game. I can't imagine they'd fuck it up. Apart from a sub par PC port.
I wish my PC could play this but alas, my PC cannot handle a 4 year old game. :/
I really don't want to ruin the game with the console version, is it really that bad?

Because consoles totally cant be hacked and games totally cant be downloaded from hacked consoles.
TOTALLY, BRO.
wiiu exclusive
I really want GTA 5 in Vice City.
They better fucking release it on PC simultaneously with console release this time or like a month after - not 9-12!
Sure, the console market is bigger but the PC market is still a market worth paying attention to.
It better have as much if now more content than SA did, SA had shitloads to do with a varied landscape which wasnt just grid streets
Take GTA IV. (Even) cooler physics (maybe breakable walls or something like that, or even collapsible buildings), cars that can break in half, basically anything that makes destruction more fun.
I really love GTA IV because of that, but it does miss jetpacks, jets and tanks (stuff that makes destruction more fun :v:)
Also the cop system is very nice but I don't really experience cops actually chasing me anymore, they just put up roadblocks. I loved doing a hit & run in SA and then just cruising through the whole country with tons of cops behind me
Has it been almost four years already? Holy shit. I have not even finished IV yet.
And I was just planning to buy it.
To be honest I'm really happy with the direction the series is heading and I'd be fine with GTA V providing the amazing story and characters while Saints Row 3 provides the bat shit insane sandbox stuff

As long as they both get good PC ports
Take Two doesn't do PC anymore. :colbert:

Put the game in Houston, let us steal rockets and drive the giant crawler down the street
It goes like 2 miles an hour though, no fun.

GTA with the ability to realisticly destroy buildings?
HNNNNNNNNG
Not gonna happen though
To be honest, I prefer GTA IV over the others, mainly for the story and characters.
The realism is why I liked it, it didn't make it any less fun, it just made it less stupid and ridiculous.
Leave Saints Row to do the stupid, and GTA to have the awesome.
The one thing I didn't like about IV was the car deformation. It just felt totally off. Probably cause the individual components wouldn't fall off like in earlier games, and the thing was just one big deformable model.
IV is my favourite in the series, but I've played every one going and they're all special in one way or another.
San Andreas 2. CJ back in town
I hope it will have wide open areas like San Andreas did (bone county, red county)

I actually hated San Andreas' wide areas, because they were empty and ugly.
But, if they can make an open area in the next one that is actually filled with something, then that'd be awesome.
I have no problem with stuff like fighter jets and apache helicopters, as long they're not treated ''wacky'' like in saints row. But rather used in over-bombastic missions. Like, you use harriers in missions where you're employed by some sort of CIA agent to destroy Russian spy ships, not to bomb an enemy street gang.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 2 with that good old 80's vibe. Damn I love that 80's music. Also, I hope that we can expect a bad ass character like Tommy Vercetti again.
I'd also enjoy it if you could play an original skinhead in London, would be cool.
Lol I hope they don't add free running like every fucking game out there now.
