For the love of God, let it be GTA2 remade.
Good. Now fire Team BONDI. Also tell Rockstar North to get tips from San Diego on how to actually make a good game.
Sorry I still think the direction GTAV took is superior to SA. The only thing lacking in GTAV was shit to do other than the main story. And GTASA was also superior in the sense it had a varied environment, i used to love to just hop on a dirt bike and go exploring and shit. For the best result I think they need to combine the writinh direction and pseudo realism of GTAV and balance it with some wacky shit for when you just want to fuck around.
San Andreas 2: CJ and the Train
San Andreas 2: CJ and the Train
oh dear god I will go fucking postal
Well Max Payne 3 is going to be on PC, so there is still hope for GTAV on PC I think.
My wallet is fucking crying in the corner right now.
I thought Saints Row 2 was a piece of shit compared to GTA IV. San Andreas was fun AND had a decent plot with likeable characters and very good humour. I'd much prefer to see a developed and serious if a little boring game than some try-hard retard simulation where everything explodes and nothing is realistic.

I thought being able to wear a hotdog suit or a thong was hilarious.
I hope it will have wide open areas like San Andreas did (bone county, red county)
Man you have no idea how many times I managed to drive my only form of transport over a cliff or something out there and find myself years away from any road. THEN when you get to a road the best you can get is some hick on a fucking tractor, god DAMN it took me ages to get the hell out of there. Even better was when I'd finish a mission and manage to crash my plane into the fucking sea and find it's like my best save so I have to stick down my keys down so CJ swims back while I get a coffee or something. Other than that, game was pretty legit.
I hated that one mission in SA where the chopper crashes and you lose all your weapons but your fists and your knife. A knife I didn't even have. Seriously I had a chainsaw and CJ pulled a knife out of his arse. I don't care whether GTA V is based in VC or SA, I just want to be able to fuck people up in the Hydra in Euphoria. I loved doing that in SA and now I can see if any dead people hit my hydra when I blow them up with a missile from in the air.
Here's hoping they go back to their roots of being the kings of creating a chaotic sandbox world instead of another dark, depressing, and boring world that has a good story but not much of a sandbox game.
It's still a sandbox game, just a dirty, depressing one. Like finding shit smeared all over an actual sandbox.
It goes like 2 miles an hour though, no fun.
Stealing it would make for a neat mission though, they could put armed guards all over it and have you ramp a motorcycle up there and then have to fight them all off Realism needs to take a backseat to fun and that's why SA was great

I own, on disk, every GTA game going back to 1 (even the UK version), I have multiple copies of San Andreas (PC and PS2) and GTA4 (360 and PC). If R* doesn't port this to the PC, or if they don't add more modding support, I won't be buying it. They used to be one of my favorite companies until people (me) had to crack the anti-modding mechanisms in GTA4 to be able to fool around with the game. They aren't my favorite dev anymore, if they want my money they'll have to earn it this time, realistically, they probably won't even try.
GTA IV was freaking amazing.. I have played that game to death. The free roam multiplayer is some of the most fun I've had in a long time, I used to play it every single day with friends. It's nice to be assured it will be a good game when it comes from Rockstar
Mini sex games needed no?
I'd like to see GTA5 in a more rural setting, not like middle of kansas rural but maybe include the area outside of Houston or something. Maybe a game in New Orleans and surrounding area, places like Bourbon Street would be really fun to drive a garbage truck down at 90 mph [editline]22nd June 2011[/editline]
I own, on disk, every GTA game going back to 1 (even the UK version), I have multiple copies of San Andreas (PC and PS2) and GTA4 (360 and PC). I bought it legitimately but it never worked. Cracked it and suddenly instant GTA4
So GTA V in hollywood, yeah baby. A lot of celebrity parody names ahoy. And properly some corrupt celebrity who killed his wife by accident, and wants you to dump her body or some shit.
fingers crossed for simultaneous development of all three platforms (360, PS3 and PC) so that the PC version doesn't get delayed a year and run like shit upon release don't get me wrong i can run it at like 60-70fps at the max settings it'll allow me (stupid fucking limiting options) but that's like what 2 years after it came out? and when it did come out achieving higher than 30 was an accomplishment.

I want to run it on high
Mini sex games needed no?
"Hey babe, wanna follow my damn train?"
I can run it at 80 at the max settings it will allow me: all medium. I hope it's set somewhere other than Liberty City/Vice City/San Andreas. Maybe Moscow.
Stealing it would make for a neat mission though, they could put armed guards all over it and have you ramp a motorcycle up there and then have to fight them all off Realism needs to take a backseat to fun and that's why SA was great
SA wasn't great at all SA is literally the worst of all of the GTAs. SA is the polar opposite of GTAIV; GTAIV has a good story / atmosphere / voice acting / is a good game. SA has a terrible story / atmosphere / voice acting / is a terrible game. SA is a complete joke, Vice City and GTAIII (best one) kick the living shit out of it. CJ is the worst protagonist in any game. i'm all for keeping some of the silliness of GTAIII / Vice City but SA? SA was a blatant appeal to fucking children, the humour in GTAIII / VC was so much more subtle and actually funny people that like SA are the people who like Family Guy but say they don't on FP to get internet cred. it's the same fucking humour. GTAIV is a better sandbox than the other games, it really is GTAIII is my favourite in the series but to say that it's a better sandbox is dumb; there's no way to escape the police besides bookin' it to a previously established location, the car physics (while wacky) don't allow for much, and you can't get in the water, nothing GTAIV has better sandbox gameplay hands down, if you play online you recognize that pretty clearly
I hope the next one has more violence. I missed the decapitations from the previous games.
I hope the next one has more violence. I missed the decapitations from the previous games.
agreed, I want heads to pop like grapes when I use a shotgun at point blank range.
Personally, in favorite order: GTA IV, GTA:Vice City, GTA 3, and then the rest (SA, GTA1&2)
agreed, I want heads to pop like grapes when I use a shotgun at point blank range.
Yeah or some hollow points revolvers or whatever, blowing motherfuckers heads like cabbage.
I can't run GTA IV. :smith:
