Alright kids, don't forget to check under your bed for hidden ISIS members!
It'll be at blackwatch plaid in no time.
Excuse to have more armed police patrolling much?
As if they'd want to stretch their resources just because
As if they'd want to stretch their resources just because
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28656324 ITs been trailed in scottish highland (some of lowest crime in uk) just because. They are trying to push it for whatever reason. I, with my cynical mindset, believe some arms supplier/manufacturer has lobbied the gov to do it. It is unnecessary and unwelcome. Didn't see this one, they have assault rifles. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/armed-police-patrol-luton-shocking-1892030 Scary shit.
theresa may needs to be kicked out of office tbh
At least they haven't raised it to Threat Level Midnight.
Excuse to have more armed police patrolling much? ps I'm against the arming of officers, I mean the gov will use it as an excuse. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1421197&p=45835352&viewfull=1#post45835352
And how would the government benefit from that exactly? Apart from having to pay said officers?
And how would the government benefit from that exactly? Apart from having to pay said officers?
Why would they be trialling it already? They must see some benefit if they have guys walking round with guns already.
Why would you announce this publicly though? If your going to die from a terrorist attack then your going to die from a terrorist attack.. wrong place, wrong time and all that..
Does this mean they're gonna leave the X-Com program ?
The US replaced their threat level system with a new one that issues time-limited alerts about specific threats, we should do the same
Military bases generally use Force Protection Conditions as well, so it is usually a pretty good indicator of what is going on. Normally it sits at FPCON alpha, I've never seen it at FPCON normal.
Are they fear the Scotland independence?
Are they fear the Scotland independence?
I made a joke they raised the Terror Level because that one MP defected to UKIP. Seems actually more accurate than any IS attack.
I don't mind the pressence of armed responce police, however patrols are taking it a bit too far. The Scottish Highlands thing is very strange though, there's pretty much no crime out there. The thing is though, the British people aren't very susceptable to fear mongering and mass hysteria. People had forgotten about the London bombings a week after it happened. These things are expected when you are off around the world blowing other peoples shit up. If gun pressence becomes excessive, I like to think we would say enough is enough.
We only have one level left, but I'm sure 'Critical' won't be used yet. In fact I think the only time it's ever been used is during The Troubles.
