Why do I get the feeling that if Mr. Rodman asked, then Mr. Bae would be released? Isn't he really close to Kim Jong-un?
It's about political concession. To the koreans, it looks like they're bending down to the Americans if they just let him go. You see what I'm saying?

and drop kicks. dont forget the drop kicks.
vice did a feature on this
it's pretty cool
He obviously gave a shit if the purpose to see Kim was for the purpose of Bae
I wouldn't be able to sit in a lavish palace and enjoy expensive liquors and fine foods while so many people suffer in that country. I just couldn't bring myself to do it no matter what the allure.

i think dennis rodman is actually working for the us gov now, i didn't used to think so, but now it just became so obvious how useful it is to have dennis getting close with kim
To be honest, I think this is a good thing, it doesn't matter how good friends they are, would you really trust Dennis Rodman with US & NK relations?
I wonder how good Kim is at basketball and it must be pretty surreal to hang out with Kim Jong-Un and presumably get drunk with him over Vodka. And why the hell do the reporters think he'll speak/negotiate over sensitive issues like Kenneth Bae while in North Korea, that is simply asking for trouble.
Rodman brought Kim Jong Un a bottle of Vodka.

No, I wouldn't. Don't judge everyone else based on your loose morals.

I think it's sickening that Rodman is enjoying time in the palace without working towards a freer north korea. It's not his job, but then again a person who cares about people wouldn't do what he is doing. Period. I had no respect for him before, and now I never will.
