Heh, the global domestic product is 62 trillion so you literally own more then half the world.

There isn't even that much money in existence. There isn't even $13 trillion in existence, the total of the US's debt.
You know what this requires? Less taxes! It's obviously the only solution
holy fucking shit 32 trillion dollars how can they sleep at night knowing they could solve the US national deficit if they weren't fucking selfish and banded together? i honestly don't know why people need to survive on such exorbitant amounts. [sub][sub][sub]share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie.[/sub][/sub][/sub]
Because they probably aren't all American people and it isn't there responsibility to fix the US national deficit.
Can't even begin to explain how angry this makes me feel, money is pointless being horded in such quantities that world hunger could be ended or any number of other things. From the perspective of the series "Civilization" this would be like realizing that the reason you're losing the game is because almost all of your "production" is being hidden from you. As a collective, we need to find a solution to this in order to advance.
[sp]thats what they do[/sp]
goddamn wacky marxist snowmobile got their grubby mitts on the planet
Fuck this, just take it from their hands with excessive force if we have to. It's just a few old fat guys who cheated their way to the top, making hundred of million of lives (or even more) suffer for their own luxury.

Who spends that much money in their lifetime.
Who spends that much money in their lifetime.
Nobody. Ever.
Who spends that much money in their lifetime.
No one does, they horde wealth for the sake of hording it and not paying their share
Fuck this, just take it from their hands with excessive force if we have to. What you are advocating is robbery. Can you prove that these people are "making hundreds of millions of lives suffer for their own luxury"?
Jesus that's enough to pay off our debt isn't it?
This is worldwide. Not every rich person in the world wants to hand over all of their wealth to pay off the US government's debt.
Now I don't support taxing people extra for being successful with their businesses or anything like that, but this is honestly bullshit. Everyone else has to pay taxes, pay your part at least if you can easily afford it.

They should give 21 million people a million dollars.
They should give 21 million people a million dollars.
yes, of all the things that 21 trillion could possibly achieve for the human race that is the best possible outcome
This is the 21st century and if governments REALLY wanted to stop tax avoidance then they would have done it by now. The reason they don't is mainly because their rich friends and special vested interest groups wouldn't like it and would no longer support them and their political parties if they did a crack down. See Vodafone, etc. and any issue of Private Eye for examples of sweetheart deals and cosyness between government and corporate cunts. Whoever has the most capital has the most power - it's exploitative but unfortunately that is what capitalism and corporatism encourage. Want a say? Become a capitalist who commands a large amount of capital. Otherwise you'll just have to deal with what those with power/capital decide.
hey wait a minute i know what they were doing with all that money they built mounds of gold to dive into
I never understood why this is not illegal. There's really not much of a reason to have off-shore accounts except to avoid paying taxes which should be considered tax evasion if it isn't already. Only other legit reason I can think of is higher interest in those accounts.
Think of all the good you could do with that money. You could change the world.
They can stack that money all the way to pluto.
To put this in perspective, WW2 cost the world roughly 2 Trillion pounds iirc.
At 1940s inflation levels, probably far, far more in today's money.
I was wondering something. Unless I did something really stupid, that says that this money, if taken out as one dollar bills and stacked, could reach the moon six times over.
Holy shit Do you know what you could do with 1 trillion? You could spend 10 BILLION dollar a year for the rest of your life, and probably have some left over
Now I don't support taxing people extra for being successful with their businesses or anything like that, but this is honestly bullshit. Everyone else has to pay taxes, pay your part at least if you can easily afford it.
There's "being successful with your business" and then there's "keeping billions and trillions of dollars in secret non-taxable bank accounts". There's a huge-ass difference.
There isn't even that much money in existence. There isn't even $13 trillion in existence, the total of the US's debt.
Yes, there is. Money is not paper you put in your wallet. It's not bits of silver you find in the couch. Money is an idea.
