While this is true for both parties, Republicans are notorious for blocking any bill that isn't theirs, regardless of what it contains. Also, :iiaca:
Butthurt republicans
I still think his NPP was undeserved.
I like Obama....now if only Jon Stewart could get into office. :bandwagon:
I'm neutral here, because I don't have any faith in either party, but you may want to present some concrete examples for your argument.
chris dodd [editline]11:10AM[/editline]
Oh please. Don't act like the democrats are oh-so-fucking high and mighty when in reality they do the exact same thing. It's been that way for dozens of years and don't you dare try, even for a moment, to sell that the republicans are the pinacle of evil and the only ones who fight the opposite party just for the sake of it. Because you are dead wrong.
Democrats historically have reached across the aisle to actually work with republicans and we didn't filibuster every fucking thing during the bush presidency
It's a reliable strategy, to bet on amnesia. I guarantee you over half of the American public has the attention span of a sack of potatoes so they can get some pretty big wins this November.

Is Obama trying to tell me that politics will play a part in this election? WOOOAH Sadly, I think there will be quite a few more republicans in Congress after the elections. A lot of crap has been going poorly the past few years. They aren't all Obama's fault, a good deal are but not all, and people are going to lash back at it. The real impact of a president's actions don't really pop up until the term after his. I honestly don't think the Republicans or the Democrats are going to bring this country forward, or even keep it from slipping further, and that is pretty concerning.
I don't get why some people get so pissy IE second video above that makes him "an asshole" when he acts like a normal guy. I think he's one of the few presidents I've seen speak that doesn't talk like a political puppet.
