I dunno, I'm pretty sure I'd do less reps with all the blood rushing to the middle part of my body rather than my arms. I'd have to do at least 3 controlled sessions first before having any good data.
Shocker - men want to impress women, especially when said women are sitting on their laps. I'm sure that because of this, these students are more likely to accidentally injure themselves from overexertion as they're trying to show off.

now when you say controlled sessions do you mean weight lifting or jack offing
I have heard that seeing an attractive girl triggers things in the brain that make men more daring and work harder. It inspired creativity and more attempts to stand out. It's an animal instinct.
This reminds me of a thing I had to do a group project on in psychology class. It's a social psychology phenomenon called the audience effect or something. People perform better (or sometimes way worse) when people are observing them. Interesting though that they added the attractiveness factor to it

Except when throwing things in the bin. The accuracy-awesomeness of your shot is inversely proportional to the number of people watching. 0 people is basically guaranteed to rebound off five different surfaces before landing square on top of the pile.
lmao the guy in the picture is repping like, 95 lbs. anyone can rep that for days.
slap on 225 and lets see if having a woman compromise your leg drive helps your reps.
Edit:
upon further inspection those seems to be 10 pound plates, so this guy's repping 65. even worse
Gotta start somewhere.
this is science
