Another thing you guys are forgetting is that a person is worth more than their fat as far as money goes. If you take organs into account a person is worth more.

The average is 8-12% for males, and that figure will be updated every year or however often the average weight figure is changed. I, actually, probably do have about 10% body-fat or so (maybe less). I've gotten REALLY skinny skinny over the past year or so (wasn't exactly fat before, but I wasn't thin, I was just in the middle somewhere).

It is also much higher for females.

World wide average for all fat for a healthy person is something like between 18 and 25% for males, and 25 and 32% or something for females (the exact figures escape me, but I believe they're roughly it).
