Snagged Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded for 4 bucks.
Couldn't let Tropico 3 and Alpha Centauri go by. I hope SimCity 4 comes up, I had no dosh when it was released with a special 75% off pricing for the first few days.
I have it on Steam, but it'd be nice to have a DRM-free copy.
Really hoping Zork will show up as a flash sale
BTW, Return to Zork is only $2.99. As is the Zork Anthology. And the others.
They're already on sale for half off.
Also, someone should make a list of stuff that has shown up so people can see what they've missed
On this note, there's a (long) thread in the GOG forums. I don't know how accurate it is, but: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/2014_drmfree_summer_sale_tracker/page1
How is Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath? I've always wanted to play it but never had an xbox. I didn't even know they ported it to PC

I have vague memories of having really fun with it. It's weird, but it's an Oddword game, so no surprise there. It was ages ago though, so i don't remember much more then that
What? If GOG goes down your games remain unaffected because you get the game files as they are and nothing else. If Steam on the other hand goes down you'd better cross your fingers that they'll manage to send out a patch that enable games to work stand-alone.
Well, actually, you can run most of steam games without steam.
Just go into steamapps/common/gamename and launch the exe file there.
[editline] what[/editline]
What, does it work just for a few games then? I'm pretty sure it works with Warthunder and a few others.

Very few Steam games work like that.

Most of them will attempt to tell Steam that they're running, and if they fail will silently exit.
The thief trilogy is $5 right now. Theres literally NO excuse to nab three of the best stealth games around at a price like this.
