please let them use VAC, Call of Duty learnt to, let Battlefield learn too!
Too bad it took CoD 2 games to learn that you need server admins for VAC to work.

Well I'd still like the ability to be unable to shoot when you are going down or up from prone to stop dropshooting.
Some of the best exclusive treatment a PC game has been given in years and years, and all some people can say is "I wanted 128"
Some of the best exclusive treatment a PC game has been given in years and years, and all some people can say is "I wanted 128"
How do you judge that.
Some of the best exclusive treatment a PC game has been given in years and years, and all some people can say is "I wanted 128"
Seriously. DICE are being smug bastards by saying "64 on PC, 24 on consoles :smug:" after so many awful console ports by the whole industry and everyone is complaining about the player limit. :colbert:
Quite frankly I don't see why everyone cares so much about 128 players; I never liked 64 player servers in BF2. It always ended up with about ten or so people in aircraft farming points off of the other 54 players. 64 player IO is basically one big explosion between the grenades and everything else. I would much rather they put more effort into other aspects of the game rather than making the game support 128 players, which only a portion of the community will end up using anyway.
i think i just had an orgasm
i think i just had an orgasm
Watch out that you don't impregnate the game, it would result in terrible sequels.
To much tease I want.

Console PC The difference being 24 vs 64 player, and it being almost a different game with the same concepts and ideas. I hope they pull it off like BF2 all over again. Just implement a better anti-hack tool that isn't Punk Buster, bring back Karkand/Wake, and allow modding from day one and I will have complete faith restored in EA/Dice.

But yes modding.
said this before, DICE is not going to use steamworks or VAC. EA wants them using PB and their stuff only
PB wasn't that much of a problem in BC2, so I wouldn't worry.

This gets me so pumped up for singleplayer battlefield action.
If they don't add mod tools then they're idiots. Modding is why BF2 is still alive.
I think they said they we're ofcourse doing that but they had some problems with mods on the frostbite enging making them not 100% sure if it would come with mod tools. I we don't see them at release I'm pretty sure they will atleast be patched in when they get over the problems.
Ima need to upgrade for this much beauty!!!!
PB wasn't that much of a problem in BC2, so I wouldn't worry.
In my opinion pb is a fucking bitch in bc2. I keep getting kicked by punk buster for like 5 minutes due to some error. I tried fixing it but I keep getting kicked randomly. Also I have seen quite a few hackers in the game.
holy dog this will beat call of duty hard
I doubt that even though it will probably be a far better game. EDIT: I'll be happy with BF3 if its just like BF2 but with less spam. Also I want longer custom squad names.
I may be late with this, but anyone else think that fighting in the trailer was actual game play with that nice filter over it?
I may be late with this, but anyone else think that fighting in the trailer was actual game play with that nice filter over it?
I think it IS.
I may be late with this, but anyone else think that fighting in the trailer was actual game play with that nice filter over it?
It was pretty obvious.
I do love me some Bad Company and 1943, but please Dice, PLEASE, do not use Frostbite. It's to restrictive to work for BF3, in a weird kind of way. If you played BF2, you'd understand how different the "feel" was when we got Frostbite.
/\ Lol
if it's like Bad Company I'll rip off my testicles.
Cause you're a expert on the Frostbite engine.
Pretty much.

BC2's weapons actually had some girth and power behind them. Firing that M95 in BC2 is epic.
if it's like Bad Company I'll rip off my testicles.
If it was going to be like Bad Company, they would have called it Bad Company 3. Much safer for them because BC already has major console fanbase while vanilla BF does not. Also they've clearly developed this alongside BC2, as separate projects, so they're not going to be the same.
Really, I want Gameplay reminiscent of good ol' Battlefield 2 with the aesthetics of Bad Company 2. I think this is what we're gonna wind up getting and I'm totally ok with it, not just ok, I'M FUCKING EXCITED AS FUCK.
