However, if he DID do something to provoke the officer, or tried to assault the officer; then force would be most likely used in that case. It's impossible to say what the victim and officer were doing at the time of the shooting until we have more evidence, until then it is all speculation. Also, I don't understand where you are coming from since that was no where in my post.
