Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 to be a Microtransaction riddled mobile game.

There's a reason Atari has failed and been bought like 20 times. Half the time the games they put out don't even get patched because they get rid of the developers for one reason or another almost immediately
Fuck mobile gaming. Fuck it, fuck it, fuck it.
Stupid 99¢ pieces of shit with their microtransaction and social networking garbage.
Fuxk that
Instead of being upset over this [like I was with Simcity] I take this for what it is: A much needed and definite ending of one of my favorite game series. It always was depressing when the news about RCT went dead and things seemed uncertain.
All that's left now is Railroad Tycoon.
What hobbies are fun now that videogames are dead?
I don't get this mentality at all. I mean, this isn't the first time video games have gone through a shitty phase, and the rest of the industry trundles on as always.
I fucking quit
And to think, we could've gotten a legitimate Rollercoaster Tycoon successor after all these years. But nope, that's depressing.
I've imagined for a long time what a proper RCT4 would be like; I guess that's never going to happen.
At least we have 2 and 3!
Well 4 is going to be shit.
I actually thought 3 was enjoyable but number 1-2 are still the best. Luckily I still have my disc from that cereal box.

I can't even get 2 to run properly on my computer, every time I launch it the colors are beyond fucked, and modifying the compatibility options doesn't seem to work.
I thought Atari died?
Hard to believe it has been 10 years since the last Rollercoaster Tycoon game was officially released.
Shame that it has to be this way. I love isometric games, but hate to see it end up mobile-only like this. Heck, even though I didn't like 3 as much as the first two, a 3D game done with today's capabilities would be great.

Downsized to nothing.
Theme Park Studio anyone?
The official series may have died but hopefully the spirit of the genre will live on.
Can someone just do an open source theme park management game already where you get to drown people?
The developer(s?) don't update their blog or Twitter feed very much, but there's FreeRCT.
How dare they RUIN MY CHILDHOOD WITH THIS GARBAGE!
I hope Atari go even more bankrupt and lose all their money, eat shit
Nobody fucking asked for a mobile game, especially with their god awful microtransactions and facebook integration
I never got into Rollercoaster Tycoon, but it still appalls me when a company finally puts a sequel out to something and makes it a series of microtransactions with tiny snippets of something resembling a game. I really hope this trend of bringing back dormant franchises as cash mosquitoes ends soon.

They pretty much died at least 4 different times, what is there left?
I wanted to see Roller Coaster Tycoon on mobile, but only to bring with me. They should have just ported it like they were originally going to.
Why is it that nearly every mobile game has to have the same shitty model?
And on the topic of mobile games acting like each other, I really wish they had went with a different art style with RCT4.
This is exactly why no one takes Mobile gaming seriously.
bullshit
Looked at their facebook page and saw this comment. My thoughts exactly:

???
The 3DS game is shit but it's not like the phone one came out of the blue.
This song popped up in my mind once I read the title.

Another franchise going to hell.
it's more like roller coaster tycoon 4(for) mobile. not rct4
I love games like this. You think pay-to-win is scummy? These games have you paying money to skip the only 'gameplay' element, that is, wait-times of several hours.

Send specs, OS and video card, thats really all I need, I'll see if I can dig something up for you

There was somebody attempting exactly that but I have no idea if that's still alive or what.

I will look for it once I tumble out of my bed
