PM'd you.
I love games like this. You think pay-to-win is scummy? These games have you paying money to skip the only 'gameplay' element, that is, wait-times of several hours.
Stare at a screen for 7 hours! Or pay to skip waiting for 7 hours and wait 8!
Fucking idiots this is casual to the max.
iOS only too, that's just perfect.
On the other hand, wasn't there a proper Transport Tycoon port for mobile devices?
Fun as fuck free remake of Transport Tycoon Deluxe, runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and a whole bunch of shit
As a fun bonus, the multiplayer works between platforms
I don't like the way the industries been going.
If mobile gaming is the future then I want the robots to revolt before we get that far.
Well it finally happened... my childhood committed seppuku.

Mine has been trying for a while, but can't get the upper left box right.
Do these kind of games actually make money or is it something the publishers just think makes money?
Wow it has really come to this hasn't it? What a shame.
I honestly wouldn't have minded this nearly as much if it were just a spinoff, but they're marketing it as a full-blown sequel. Guh

They make millions. At the expense of their original IP.

They make crazy amounts of money. I know at least two people who have spent more than two hundred dollars on games like this; one around five hundred on Megapolis and another about three on Hay Day. It's insane. Worst is, they don't even notice it themselves. They just spend two or three dollars a day playing their little cow-clicker, sometimes more if buying a big boost. But it adds up to a whole fucking lot really quickly.
There was somebody attempting exactly that but I have no idea if that's still alive or what.

I will look for it once I tumble out of my bed
Okay so apparently latest commits to it's Subversion are as fresh as yesterday so I don't think it's dead, probably just progressing reaaaaal slow
My fucking childhood
Gaming has seriously changed. These kind of Mobile Games probably won't be the bottom of the barrel. I played the Jurassic Park Builder Game and that was alright but it still had those retarded pay to get everything quicker thing going on.
Idiotic. I hate it and everybody that spends hundreds of dollars on those is a huge fucking moron. I bet they make fun of people playing paid MMO's like WoW too without realising how stupid they are.
Mobile Gaming is something we should all hate except for a few games.
Time to play RCT2 again.
How the fuck do you go from Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 to this bullshit? Also 3 is my favorite cause I like watching the little people go flying when I make a coaster crash into them.
please no atari, don't do this to RCT
Somebody needs to make a game dev tycoon game where you managed your own team of developers as they pitch ideas for a new game.
Then when they inevitably come up with something as shit as this, you get to design the most intricate and imaginative way of killing them. Or just physically abusing the shit out of them.
I'd play it everytime someone announces a shit game like this.
Fuck you Atari. I fucking loved RCT 1/2/3, was a huge fan of them. RCT4 comes so many fucking years later and you give us this shit.
Fuck you Atari.
Atari has been nothing more than a name with a few IPs for a really long time.
Also, a new Rollercoaster Tycoon game with (optional) touch optimization for Windows 8 convertibles would be great. Playing it on the go would be great.
Let's use the popular business model trend, because popular = good, good = money, trends = popular!

Sad is no self respecting dedicated game developer would come up with this, it's the bean counters, the managers.
There is always Theme Park Studio, I can't wait to play that.

Fuck Atari.
please no atari, don't do this to RCT
To be honest i didn't expect that much dislike

Oh lol.
I hate how the majority of new games in series that haven't had any attention for a while are all mobile or F2P or heavily dumbed down or something similar. People who are fans of the series aren't going to care about this at all. Developers keep making games that aren't intended for people who liked the original games and it's getting really annoying.
I would rather buy the android game instead of crappy micro-transactions which ruin the game.
oh for fuck sake!
All they had to do was port RCT 1/2 to android & ios...Thats It!
Sell it for a bit more (4/5$) and it would sell, but they have to go ad make it another "xp,skill points share with you're freinds farmville" type shit "game" so it will sell and then it will die out like all the others (sims free2play comes to mind)
I was actually hoping for a good RCT4 as RCT 1&2 were awesome and RCT 3 I still enjoyed playing but I cannot believe they have fucked up such a well loved franchise like RCT!
Whats next, SimC..............oh.
Electronic Arts should be banned from using micro-transactions and ruining games that could have been good.
i read somewhere that RCT made 160 million dollars
do they think they'll even make close to that amount with this
