Oh my fucking god it ACTUALLY uses that shitty "buy X to speed up building process or wait Y hours" dogshit found in 99% of mobile games. Fuck this shit.

I am so infuriated by this. And as if to say the final fuck you, is that the wooden coaster in the promo pic has NO banking and there are no queue lines.

Just to put it in perspective, I got RCT1 and its expansions for £1.50 off Gamersgate. Most transactions in this will probably cost that much.

Well to be fair, i cannot see how they can even make a decent brand new Rollercoaster Tycoon game, if i remember correctly people just disliked RCT3 because it was 3D rather then isometric 2D.

I feel tht microtransactions will die, they keep getting worse everyday and I think people are catching on to it that it is getting worse.

I don't see wh developers aren't porting old games to tablets. Theme hospital, populous, RCT, The Sims 1 etc. They would sell on nostalgia alone and work great on touch devices, don't need to change anything about the game.

I'll play this since I love the franchise, but really disappointed in the direction they're taking it

Well, time to dig up my copy of RCT2 that I got in a cereal box 10 years ago.

Its sad to think that this will probably be profitable in the long run. For every one of us who is against this there are at least 3 people who will eat this up and/or think turning a game into a shambling microtransaction golem is "the next logical step for the medium".

i think much of the issue was less the 3d and more the shift of art style, which i thought looked pretty bad.

RCT3 was one of the best RCT games I've played, just with the amount of stuff you could actually do in it and the amounts of rides you could create

I like 3 and 2 equally. This is an abortion

its functionality was probably the best of the three, i just didn't like the art style.
