Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 to be a Microtransaction riddled mobile game.

It's like companies won't realize that this model's basically dead. It worked a few times, it won't work anymore.
Times like this I wish mobile gaming was never introduced.
Fuck.
20 $/€ pc port with microtransactions removed I bet.
What they mean , is its a PC Port of the game to Facebook. Not a RTC4 game, I hope these developers never touch a game again.
remember, this is the same company that attempted to have a subscription based game WITH sales like a f2p game(star trek online), which naturally didn't work(which resulted in them getting pissy, and then tried to actively bankrupt cryptic studios).
is kinda of an insult to the real atari, that these guys exist.
And those people have no idea what the hell they are missing. The 3D camera allowed for much more complicated structures and shit. You can build entire interiors using decorations and then ride your coaster in coaster-cam through it.
I was honestly surprised how many people dislike RCT 3, i love it as well.

Got new scoop here if you've not seen it yet.
well rct 4 for pc is listed as an online game

Rollercoaster Tycoon has always been one of those games that's amazing but at the same time there's so much untouched potential. Imagine having Rollercoaster Tycoon games on Steam with workshop access, being able to download people's custom rides and stalls, and mods for customer outfits and completely new rides and stuff.
I can dream.
beep beep coming through

I wonder how things went over at Atari when they saw how severe the backlash became.

Well, I guess there is still a glimmer of hope. It's just disturbing that whatever team is developing this may also be responsible for the steaming pile of horse shit in the OP.
The "PC experience" is going to be an "Online game", which could mean it's either multiplayer RCT or a browser game.

What are they going to do with a singleplayer horror game from the 90's?
"Play with your 'Facebook Friends' in this new Co-op 'Reboot' of the classic survival series!"

Have a feeling it will be a Facebook game, grumble.
I just hope the PC version will be less social network/pay to play based.
