Why can't my country stop being hypocritical for just one week?
Like this NSFW
What the fuck is this shit
Good, then all the news networks can go back to reporting on more important things than this wikileaks bullshit
[sarcasm] Yeah, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are so much more important than exposing government corruption. [/sarcasm]
Even though I hate this guy, these are the wrong charges to put him under. He did no spying, the people who gave him the info my have, but he did not. They need to charge him with espionage. He is violating the "Espionage Act of 1917" which clearly states that" "To convey information with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the armed forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies. This was punishable by death or by imprisonment for not more than 30 years or both."

Would i still go to prison?

This isn't treason, it's espionage.

Oh god America, why do you think this will improve anything?
so me telling people to not join the military would also effect the chances of it being successful and meaning im also committing a crime
That was the original design of the document. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18/usc_sec_18_00000793----000-.html This is part of the revised format. Same idea, but less chance of including people doing innocent things.

Similar cases have happened before. Seriously, they haven't done anything illegal. The Espionage Act is just an old pile of bullshit. The US is simply grasping at straws since they're so butthurt about the whole matter. It's only making them look like the evil ones.

Assange looks better with white hair.
This really shows what America is all about; going to all extends and loopholes just to catch one man who smudged their name. Charges or not, I think we all know who's really lost this trial...
Good, then all the news networks can go back to reporting on more important things than this wikileaks bullshit
Yep, no more of this global politics bullshit, we're going back to the basics: true-blooded American news:
Wow do any of you know how goverments work? This isn't anything new. Also you should read up on the diffrent branches of goverment, it would be insightful because half the stuff you people are saying doesn't make any sense.
