I wonder, what kind of computer were they using when they were working on this game engine? Your computer must be ultra powerful to run any game using that engine. Sigh, it's too bad that most gamers can't afford to upgrade or buy a new computer
Get quad core.
I've got a dual core and I can play Crysis very high [editline]12:53AM[/editline] Run*
Agh hopefully Crysis 2's storyline won't shit itself halfway though. And then all of a sudden [sp]ALIENS, EVERYWHERE.[/sp]

Aliens appeared right at the end!" even though it was foreshadowed multiple times throughout the movie and the movie was about it the whole time. It's like you're completely oblivious to anything that isn't placed right in front of your face, and no matter how much notice you're given, it's still an extreme shock.

Then again, I haven't played through Crysis too much so I'm not too sure if that's the case.
But goddamn if this is perfectly optimised for those of us without the absolute newest GPU/CPU... Well my soul would be sold so fast it'd leave you spinning.
It run on consoles, so I'd expect anything above a 8800GT or a 4870 could max the dx9 mode out easily.
or it's because the alien portions were the shittiest portion of the game
:bandwagon:
I think he was talking about the fact that it shouldn't have been about aliens, just like the new Indiana Jones movie. But in a game like Crysis, I found the aliens were necessary to pose as a challenge. If you think about it, if the aliens weren't to exist, then the game would be another bland shooter. Go here, kill these koreans, go here retrieve this intelligence from these koreans etc etc. Just like halo for fighting those brutes, the aliens that pose a challenge, no matter how much you hate them, are necessary to keep your attention.
