Most of the iranian people that I've met have been fairly nice. Rather hang out with them over some certain people in america.
Wow, racist.
I think the lashes are done there with a thin wooden cane, not an actual whip - think like old style discipline. Painful as fuck, but more bruising, less bleeding.
Oh, so that makes it okay?
Wow, racist.
That's odd
I was under the impression that those were nationalities, not races
Oh, so that makes it okay?
That's not why he said it, someone asked how someone could survive that many lashes

Singapore and a few other countries use a cane. They also put pads on you to protect your kidneys and spine.
Iran still does it the old fashioned way, with a whip or leather strap.
Do they spread the lashes out over the year because I'm pretty sure 90 at once would kill you

when the number of lashes is high, are frequently done in batches to minimise risk of harm.
Yep, seems that they spread the lashes out.
So much Iran hate, lets hate Israel some to even things out.
Israel is oppressive, but they're not nearly as bad as Iran is.
Plus, I mean Israel didn't try and carry out a terrorist attack on our capital.
Remove Islam and the shitty government, and you have a beautiful nation.
hell, make it as lawless as the wild west as its told by Hollywood, you'll probably end up with a way less fucked up place.
Iran: Where women get whipped for being raped, and the rapists have to pay a $2 fee for raping.
I better head there and get some free money, then
Oh, so that makes it okay?
When did I say that makes it okay? Dumbass.
And no, Islam is not a 'big part of Iranian culture OR history'
Here, have some text:

Iran was indeed Islamized, but it was not Arabized. Persians remained Persians. And after an interval of silence, Iran reemerged as a separate, different and distinctive element within Islam, eventually adding a new element even to Islam itself. Culturally, politically, and most remarkable of all even religiously, the Iranian contribution to this new Islamic civilization is of immense importance. The work of Iranians can be seen in every field of cultural endeavor, including Arabic poetry, to which poets of Iranian origin composing their poems in Arabic made a very significant contribution. In a sense, Iranian Islam is a second advent of Islam itself, a new Islam sometimes referred to as Islam-i Ajam. It was this Persian Islam, rather than the original Arab Islam, that was brought to new areas and new peoples: to the Turks, first in Central Asia and then in the Middle East in the country which came to be called Turkey, and of course to India. The Ottoman Turks brought a form of Iranian civilization to the walls of Vienna. A seventeenth-century Turkish visitor who went to Vienna as part of an Ottoman embassy, notes with curiosity that the language which they speak in Vienna is a corrupt form of Persian. He had of course observed the basic Indo-European kinship between Persian and German, and the fact that the Germans say ist and the Persians say ast, almost the same thing, for the verb "to be," present indicative third-person singular.
it's the bullshit that the regime uses to control the populace, that was forced into the population by the Arabs hundreds of years ago.
Try 1360 years buddy. And this "bullshit" is worshipped by an overwhelming majority of the population, even though it was "forced", as you like to call it. Now why would that be? But I guess that doesn't say a lot, not if it goes up against your grand, oversimplifying statement that they're "indoctrinated" if they follow a religion that's been ingrained in their culture for over a thousand years.
The indoctrinated groups of the populace fail to see that
Right, but if they follow an obscure, ancient religion then they're not indoctrinated robots, amirite? Sorry Iranians, this guy's an expert on your culture even though he's never visited the country, probably never talked to any Iranians, and thinks the Iranian government's interpretation of Islamic law is the only interpretation.
Oh yes, and those protests that's been going on in recent years, particularly the protests against the obviously forged Iranian elections? Obviously the work of brainwashed drones.
Take a fucking look at the culture of a race that has existed FAR before Islam was ever a part of the country
You could use your own advice, know that? Take a look at the period between 651-1979 and you'll find, probably to your great and utter surprise, Persian culture intermingled with Islamic culture very well. If you're going to continue to delude yourself that Islam is like this foreign contagion to Persia and Iranians are being brainwashed by them, try talking to a few of them, if you can withstand their brainwashed gabble that's been injected into them by the big and scary government.
