Its like having it at low makes your computer chill out and smoke a joint while setting it high makes it get off its ass and do some god damn work.

Fixed by deleting dsound.dll
This utterly fucked my performance. On the previous version I maxed it with around 25 fps (CPU limiting my GPU), which is playable for me, but now I get 5 and if I turn night shadows off, I get 8.

This update is amazing. Everything about it is awesome. They even added a fucking simulated moon to a 2 year old game. Awesome.
I'll wait till the modders crack the updated files. That's only reason I play GTA4 in the PC. Otherwise, I'll play the PS3 version.
