Guess why he's called the ANGRY videogame nerd. Bitterness damnit.
Guess why he's called the ANGRY videogame nerd. Bitterness damnit.
Because a mechanic never gets angry when after a long time of trying to make something work, it still doesn't. Because a teacher never gets angry when kids are annoying. Like I said before, this looks more like a stereotype joke than actual news.
I'm skinny as fuck, below 35 and depressed. Am I a gamer?
If you're a virgin, yes.
If you're a virgin, yes.
So someone who doesn't even have a computer, if he has bad luck with girls he's a gamer?
If you're a virgin, yes.
Cool.
So someone who doesn't even have a computer, if he has bad luck with girls he's a gamer?
Goddamn man. Let me use my damn stereotypes
500 people is a accurate assesment of the population of a whole.
500 people is a accurate assesment of the population of a whole.
Not to mention that there's a lot of people younger than 19 years old that play games.
No, Miserable and Fat people turn to gaming to cheer themselves up and relieve stress from bullying.
lol [editline]08:52PM[/editline]
So someone who doesn't even have a computer, if he has bad luck with girls he's a gamer?
If you have bad luck with girls, and you're not a gamer or a drug addict, you should probably just call yourself asexual
th89 sounds like one of those morons who say that anyone who plays games is a fat anti social loser :downs:
th89 sounds like one of those morons who say that anyone who plays games is a fat anti social loser :downs:
aka people who are right
That is not right
If you have bad luck with girls, and you're not a gamer or a drug addict, you should probably just call yourself asexual
Having bad luck with girls implies that he's trying, and therefore not an asexual, just a failure :eng101:
You didn't get the point
That is not right
Liar you're a fat antisocial loser and you know it.
ITT: FPers (who fall under this study) find any excuse they can to disprove this study to make themselves feel better.
This is news? We have known this for years.
I dislike your new avatar
Also, this just in: Eating a lot of hamburgers may give you heart problems: Story at 11.
and up next: is there a deadly corrosive acid in your water supply? more at 9:00
God don't remind me
Doesn't that makes you one also?
Doesn't that makes you one also?
I don't see how
Dont trust any studies that come out of america, even though i live in America i can accurately say that such studies are 1. very bias 2. consisting of a invalid amount of test subjects too target demographic 3. performed with invalid methods Seriously i could pick out 600 fat people who collect stamps and say they are obsessed fucks and need to stop eatin teh sweets And before a troll starts fartin' bout childhood obesity. Go watch "Penn & Tellers: Bullshit" on Videogames and listen to the part on how childhood activities such as football has killed more kids than any other activity. Inconclusion, relating a hobby to physical health SHOULD only be conducted when the hobby itself directly influences health not influences concepts like "OMG GAMERS SIT IN HOUSE AND NOM FOOD =3!" Btw, ive played video games since 3 and im pretty happy
This would make sense only if the definition of gamer didn't mean someone who simply played video or computer games, like solitare at their office or Guitar Hero at a friend's house.
A word of advice, don't argue with TH89. He is always right.* *[sp]results may vary[/sp]
Um no? The report says 45% of the interviewed people are gamers, and that out of these gamers, a certain ungiven percentage are fat and miserable, and that this ungiven percentage is high enough to convince them that gamers are more likely to be fat and miserable. However, they are not saying "gamers are fat and miserable", just that they are more likely to be fat and miserable. You could say "people who play sports are more likely to be fit" and still have people who are fat and play sports (slow metabolisms maybe?).
I think we're all reading it backwards. It should say "fat and miserable people are more likely to be gamers".
I think we're all reading it backwards. It should say "fat and miserable people are more likely to be gamers".
I think it goes both ways. Like a venn diagram or something. [editline]06:07AM[/editline] btw guys I'm a little miserable rn so I guess you were right after all
All things considered I'm pretty sure I'm still going to take the word of University Scientists over that of a kid who thinks Penn & Teller is an accurate source of information
hey buddy they have charts
All things considered I'm pretty sure I'm still going to take the word of University Scientists over that of a kid who thinks Penn & Teller is an accurate source of information
Penn & Teller ARE. Are? Is? Are they two people because you use both their names individually or do they function as a single entity?
