I'm fat. But not miserable. Well not really. Wait. FUCK STUDIES :emo:
I'm skinny like shit and I game at least an hour a day. There goes your science. Just weighted myself: 48 kilograms - 1,65 meters.
Man, I want to play Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors.
Penn & Teller ARE. Are? Is? Are they two people because you use both their names individually or do they function as a single entity?
well teller never talks [editline]10:17PM[/editline]
I'm fat. When you're a gamer, you need a fast metabolism. 13 servings of 130 calories isn't even a fifth of what I eat in a day.
When you're a gamer, you need a fast metabolism. 13 servings of 130 calories isn't even a fifth of what I eat in a day.
that's not a fast metabolism that's just eating too much you don't get a fast metabolism from sitting on your ass
I'm a little overweight, but I wouldn't call myself fat. and I'm not 35. or depressed. besides, I wouldn't really call myself a gamer either. I am interested in games, but even more interested in the more complex aspects of them that would fall more under the category of work/art than gaming.
Everybody is depressed. Gamers are just smart enough to realize it. As for overweight, pretty much every gamer i know is average weight. And i'm actually UNDER weight.
You don't need to conduct a study to figure that out.
Everybody is depressed. Gamers are just smart enough to realize it. As for overweight, pretty much every gamer i know is average weight. And i'm actually UNDER weight.
sure you are of course 200 pounds is under weight
i'm fat but i don't feel very depressed only some days. everyone itt saying they aren't need to back it up with body photos.
i disapprove that! I take walks, the only thing i get for playing games 24/7 is back aches and pains...
I'm skinny, happy and obsessed with Gmod/TF2/Source SDK. Suck it studies.
It seems that everybody skipped over the "more likely" part, and just read the thread title as "all gamers are fat losers."

Playing games stimulates your game part of the brain, which in turn causes your squiggly-spooch to start producing fat. It is proven by scientists with statistics.
At least I'm not a "gamer"
Yet you moderate a forum that is primarily about gaming :raise: I'm rather overweight (about 3-4 stone), I play games and I am very depressed and use gaming to escape from my shitty life, the study has me in a nutshell.
I play video games but I play sports and I'm popular at school ok gud study
What. That never happened at my school, if you played games classed as a nerd you got threatened to be beat up/smacked round the face with a hockey stick(me)/was hated by all the popular kids etc etc But im not fat or miserable, that study=trollin to make parents stop kids from playing games and go out stabbing people instead as that is oh such the better alternative
Studies show that people who want to have fun are more likely to be fat and miserable.
Studies show sucking my penis is fun, do it every single day if you like.
It's not a fair test because they sampled Gabe, that raised way higher.
Does Gabe look miserable to you? Also: I'm not fat, I'm not 35, but I rarely crack a smile, though that's probably because I'm one of those stoic people.
sure you are of course 200 pounds is under weight
Depends on height and shit.
Or maybe the fat and miserable are more likely to be gamers.
miserable people turn to games to have fun instead of socialising because they're bullied or whatever, they don't do any exercise and eat while a map loads, get fat then are chosen for a study and it turns out that gaming makes you fat and miserable
Surely, by now, online games must be counted as a social activity.
I'm skinny like shit and I game at least an hour a day. There goes your science. Just weighted myself: 48 kilograms - 1,65 meters.
Damn your light as fuck. 68ish kg here, haven't got a fucking clue how tall i am.
I'm not fat, I'm not 35 and I ain't depressed but I do game, study some more.
They probably just sampled a whole heap of World of Warcraft players.
