If that screen were like today's touch screens, I would totally want one today. I can't cut my thumb nails as short as a lot of people because the nerves stick out ever so slightly further than my actual finger, so typing on touch screen keyboards is a pain in the ass
the return of the samsung SII body
yes please. That thing's fucking indestructible
iPhone design is garbage, we need more sliders and flippers and physical keys in general. the old Droid was the way to go, but they abandoned it in favour of more of the same old tired solid candybar with a touchscreen dominating everything...
I agree that the removal of the settings/back buttons is really annoying. But more buttons doesn't seem like a good idea. I like my 6 buttons.
yes please. That thing's fucking indestructible
I have a samsung galaxy SII HD LTE The thing has been through the wash, tossed at walls, dropped from waist height, and experienced countless other horrors against technology. The plastic outside is barely scratched, and the screen has not a scratch to be seen. The thing is a fucking tank. The only thing that I can complain about is the low amount of ram and the crappy camera.
You look the same way unless you explain yourself a little better than just calling something stupid, stupid
Lain has an Apple boner
So many people who went by "Apple patented rectangle". Actual patent also defines many small things, like front speaker dimensions, screen edge lendth, and so on. And whole thing happened about Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone 3gs, at least originally.
Can't argue with it legally, but to call some of Samsung's designs original wouldn't be all that fair, either. That said, that bottom port area is probably the only similar thing on the two flagships. I prefer the feel of the S6 more than the iPhone, but I'll take the looks of my iPhone 6 over the looks of the S6. [editline]19th May 2015[/editline] Really though I just want another one of these [t]http://i.imgur.com/QPjzivv.png[/t] The keyboard was the shit, I miss keyboard phones. Being able to touch type a text was awesome. Now I have to stare at my phone or my texts start'; ;ooikj kiem thoz.
Blackberry's still making modern touchscreen phones with physical keyboards, and they're going to release a slider by the end of the year or something. Their current flagship has a 1:1 screen which is unusual but surprisingly good for surfing the web and writing messages.

iPhone 5S is a sexy motherfucker.
iPhone 5S is a sexy motherfucker.
I still think the iPhone 4 has the nicest design I've seen on a smartphone It's just really satisfying for some reason, I hate busy designs
The Chinese markets must be booming with clones now.
They already were. Since when did the Chinese give a shit about copyright laws?
What the fuck is this thing jesus christ It looks so bad, you'd have to have pockets the size of craters on the moon to fit that anywhere :v:
It's not so big, as shown. It's just a size of normal passport (hence the name). There are way bigger phones on market right now
In all honesty, I just wish phone manufacturers would make a phone that didn't flop in vital areas. The old LG phone I had was damn near indestructible and EVERYTHING worked on it perfectly, though was a little sluggish due to being a single core CPU in a modern phone age. Nowadays, every phone I have had has some glaring hardware flaw or oversight. My S3? Bad BT, nonfunctional GPS unit, and Touchwiz crippled the phone badly. Came with a bad battery. Ended up bricking it due to losing the IMEI and baseband somehow during a custom rom install. (Suspect AT&T did something remotely as I've been hearing happening) My current phone, the LG G2 Mini? GPS unit no where near as stable as the older LG I used to have, barely get cell signal (Though I think that's more due to T-Mobile), and data sometimes fudges up. I just want a phone that is powerful, a battery lasts more than a day, fits in my pocket, and all of it's peripherals/sensors/features work as intended. Especially GPS, as I travel out of town at least once every year. I'm tired of playing Russian Roulette with phones when I can't find decent information beyond specs and sketchy reviews.
I'd take one of those amazing flip phones SoftBank and NTT sells over an iphone any day.
Shitty flip phone vs mini computer. I sure do believe you...
I like the new samsung design though with the beveled screen edge.
