Some trans-gender folk will probably take this and spin it as "omg you're segregating us you don't think we're real people i'm telling tumblr". You'll never please everyone.
that is almost what is happening though i'm sure they don't have the intention to segregate, but that's the effect it gives off
Just make them all the same, if a person feels uncomfortable they can always use the stalls, what do people even fear about unisex bathrooms? [editline]29th October 2013[/editline]
Ex-ex-gay
What? Isn't that just "Gay"?
Transgender in China, Transgender people in Singapore, Transgender in film and television, Transsexuality in Iran
Ok seriously what the fuck? Where are you getting this from?
What? Isn't that just "Gay"?
Nope! It's Ex-ex-gay.
Where are you getting his from?
It was a list on wikipedia.
My uni does not have separated bathrooms, i don't see why it isn't this way everywhere.
My uni does not have separated bathrooms, i don't see why it isn't this way everywhere.
because the rapist and all the men shit on the walls, its fact.
Harvard's had solutions to this problem for years. [T]http://farm9.static.flickr.com/8529/8483407989_7bbedfcdce.jpg[/t]
i go peepee standing up
Having an additional gender netrual bathroom isn't going to help. I think unisex bathrooms would be the best way to solve this problem.
im all for trans rights and everything but gender neutral bathrooms make no sense to me mtf use girls bathroom, ftm use boys bathroom. wheres the big deal at

even remotely [editline]29th October 2013[/editline]
im all for trans rights and everything but gender neutral bathrooms make no sense to me mtf use girls bathroom, ftm use boys bathroom. wheres the big deal at
the deal is pointlessly seperating bathrooms. why seperate them in the first place if that serves no functional purpose
I never even gave a thought about why we have gender specific bathrooms, probably because it's such a petty, inconsequential part of our existence. Creating a specific third bathroom for people who don't want to go to either of the regular bathrooms sounds like a pretty fucking stupid idea and if anything will serve as a beacon for idiots who want to do stupid shit involving the other gender of transgenders.
How did this thread go from so many Winners to so many Dumbs?

[t]http://revolutionarydilettante.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/blogphotos7.jpg[/t] wouldn't something like this just be more efficient? :v:
even remotely [editline]29th October 2013[/editline] the deal is pointlessly seperating bathrooms. why seperate them in the first place if that serves no functional purpose
Guys bathrooms are more oriented twoards guys (Urinals and other guy-oriented things) Girls bathrooms are more oriented twoards girls (no urinals, more toilets/space/etc. and other girl-oriented things) makes more sense to have two rooms specifically designed for that gender to use the restroom from a logical perspective.
Guys bathrooms are more oriented twoards guys (Urinals and other guy-oriented things) Girls bathrooms are more oriented twoards girls (no urinals, more toilets and other girl-oriented things) makes more sense to have two rooms specifically designed for that gender to use the restroom.
why can't it be more simple than that? why can't women use a bathroom that has a urinal someplace? in my experience, unisex bathrooms are much less hassle. you avoid the need to have two rooms rather than one, it's easier to clean and avoids situations where people feel unfit (whatever those situations are) beyond urinals, western bathrooms aren't that varied.
[t]http://revolutionarydilettante.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/blogphotos7.jpg[/t] wouldn't something like this just be more efficient? :v:
Well no, because then Pre-op transgender women use the 'male' room and transgender men use the 'female' room, and you haven't really done anything to help the situation.
Pretty sure a lot of people wouldn't feel comfortable at all putting on a tampon or pissing in an urinal with someone of the opposite gender right next to them.
Pretty sure a lot of people wouldn't feel comfortable at all putting on a tampon or pissing in an urinal with someone of the opposite gender right next to them.
you are aware that bathrooms consist of cubicles, yeah?
You could just build more unisex restrooms. Simple as that.
women don't put tampons on in the bathroom outside of a cubicle, by the way
Guys bathrooms are more oriented twoards guys (Urinals and other guy-oriented things)
What do you mean by "other guy-oriented things"? Either I'm not very observant or they just don't have anything like that in the bathrooms I've used.
They should just make signs of "Vagina" and "Penis".
Can we take things one step at a time instead of just flopping on something and than wondering why people are angry with our pants down?
you are aware that bathrooms consist of cubicles, yeah?
Cubicles with smaller doors that don't go all the way down to the floor and that were designed this way to specifically remind people that they are in a public bathroom and not in their own personal space. This specific design choice with the cubicles not going all the way up or down is why so many people hate public bathrooms (among other reasons like filthiness) Also urinals aren't in cubicles.
Also, women take forever to take a god damn piss. Like, holy fucking shit. Yank your dick out, take the piss, wash hands, walk out. Why do you have to take five minutes to do that? I don't want no fucking super-long lines on my fucking bathrooms, no sir-ee!
do i need to explain this to you women can't just yank their dick out. if they did what we did (unbuckle, unzip, lower/open up underwear) they'd piss their pants. why? women don't have weiners. i think. i don't know i'm 10 what are girls. not only do women lack the "piss everywhere" perk, they have to deal with the ungodly uncleanliness of toilet seats. if you were forced to sit down in the bathrom i have no doubt that you'd try to make that shit as comfortable and not disgusting as possible.
What do you mean by "other guy-oriented things"? Either I'm not very observant or they just don't have anything like that in the bathrooms I've used.
Maybe a coin-op condom dispenser? That's about the only thing I can think of, and that really could just be put next to a tampon dispenser in an unisex bathroom.
What do you mean by "other guy-oriented things"? Either I'm not very observant or they just don't have anything like that in the bathrooms I've used.
most guy bathrooms have stuff like condom dispensers and other things like that. then again i live in Southern US, so maybe it's different elsewhere.
Pretty sure a lot of people wouldn't feel comfortable at all putting on a tampon or pissing in an urinal with someone of the opposite gender right next to them.
doesn't and shouldn't matter. you know what we do in the bathroom, right? we piss. we shit. how is throwing a blood-soaked tampon in the trash more gross than throwing a paper towel covered in millions of little bacteria babies that came from your butt or dick? [editline]28th October 2013[/editline]
most guy bathrooms have stuff like condom dispensers and other things like that. then again i live in Southern US, so maybe it's different elsewhere.
i live in california and i have never seen a condom dispenser in a guy's bathroom. where the hell do you live?
