Now imagine the lights below the monitoring giving a entire light show as it expands, and to add to that you are in a dark college room :v: [editline]5th January 2017[/editline]
Wish I had something like this when I was in college. I can see the exchange now: Roomie: hey I'm gonna turn the lights, that cool? Gonna try and sleep Me: yeah okay no prob, probably just gonna play a quick game on my laptop Roomie: oh god no *WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
lmao i can't find the triple display laptop as anything other than gloriously ridiculous [editline]5th January 2017[/editline] like, it's a product i absolutely support. make that shit.
That laptop is going to cause debt. It seems like you'd need the typical loan for a small car for it. As for the projection stuff; it looked better in motion but I'm not convinced. The Razer Chroma stuff opening up for third parties to use is cool though.
4K screens on laptops are a damn joke. It honestly is a bit of a nuisance sometimes.
Outside of the whole gaming thing, the triple display laptop could be neat for productivity as it's essentially a portable workstation.
Also i want to note that the Razer Chroma stuff is pretty cool, i don't own a Razer chroma device but i have used it at a friend's house and the customization is unbelievable but it just sucks it costs €230~ if you want a Chroma keyboard + mouse
You could prevent seeing a slideshow with an external gpu enclosure. Like the one made by razer.
Should probably note that most of this stuff is just concepts. Razer is the ideas guy of CES usually, almost none of the things they show off as "projects" get turned into reality. Both of these ideas are probably gonna be dead in the water. On the bright side, get ready for their only sale of the year after CES.
Razer are either dumb as fuck or beautifully self-aware, and I'm thinking it's the latter judging by black tshirt hardcore man
the ceo, min liang tan, is probably one of gamings biggest absurdities. he's just so self absorbed it's mindblowing how droves of people continue to blindly support him and razer. his posts on facebook are almost embarassing, i just follow to know when they have sales going on, and he's got this air of pandering with every post he makes. he's the embodiment of gamer fuel.
You could prevent seeing a slideshow with an external gpu enclosure. Like the one made by razer.
At that point you might as well buy a desktop, no?
tbh a triple monitor laptop would be dope imo Not for gaming, but for general productivity that would benefit from triple monitors Plus I can imagine the feeling of busting that thing out in class
I can't imagine either of these being very good. Not only that, but if you're gonna turn your busy wall into a projector, why would you ever consider sitting so close? That's madness. It looks headache inducing. Also, "saviors of PC gaming"? The fuck.
Saviors of PC gaming thing is a joke, and IIRC from a VSauce video, human beings are more perceptive to movement in their peripheral vision, so having a projector project a periphery may be beneficial to gaming. EDIT wait no it's just a shitty re-projection of the screen onto your wall.
Is there any GPU that is able to run a game on triple 4K ? Even the desktop gtx1080 is having trouble with a single 4K monitor

Edit: kidna like this [t]http://i.imgur.com/UHLEqHU.png[/t]
Also, "saviors of PC gaming"? The fuck.
That's been a running joke for like 7 years by now
Outside of the whole gaming thing, the triple display laptop could be neat for productivity as it's essentially a portable workstation.
Imagine if the military contracted Razer to make heavy duty triple display laptops.
I gotta give it to Razer for being actually innovative, it might look silly but i don't see a whole lot of other manufacturers trying to innovate every year
I can see no reason to feed an Nvidia GPU as well as two more power-hungry backlights, on a form factor where power consumption and heat should ideally be low. Seeing the two walls you're standing next to in a FPS just doesn't seem that important. Plus, this design was cooler and a had a Wacom tablet built into the palm rest. edit Crud, someone else already knows the W700ds line.

Gayming!!!" (he actually did) I find that with a lot of razer products (i went through a phase and had quite a bit of their stuff, don't judge me!), that it was just really cheap plastic, meh internals, and features that just scream Mountain Dew and Doritos (a starcraft mouse that changes colors as your APM goes up? just little gimmicks like that.) To be fair, a 3 screen laptop would be pretty cool, as I was recently looking for portable displays for my laptop as one screen is too constricting for me to program on when I'm at college. I don't see how you'd be able to drive 3 - 4K monitors with the laptop though.

Just a shame that it is expensive
The only razer device I ever bought was a Naga (mmo mouse) and it's mouse1 broke after a year, got RMA'd only for the new one's cable to break after a year. That said if you had unlimited money that laptop would be beautiful to own (it has a 1080 iirc). Sadly I don't have infinite money. The temptation is real though.
So like all things razer it'll be good on paper, terrible in practice, and break after 6 months.
God damn you guys are cynical. I'd love having a triple display laptop just for regular work, it'd be amazing to have more than one display on the go. Weight isn't an issue for me and I wouldn't even need it for gaming. And for developers this would be fantastic. They used a lot of ridiculously overdramatic slogans like "PC GAMING IS NOT DEAD!" and then unveiled a gaming laptop which was sarcastically nicknamed "the savior of PC gaming".
I'm down for Ariana
Triple display laptop? Fucking really?
To be fair a multiple display laptop would be fucking sick for college students or highschool students with higher-up computer classes. There's been multiple times where I've started writing a paper or doing an assignment and gone "ugh fuck this it'll be easier to do this at home where I can have all of these windows open at once and spread out across my two monitors." The fact that you can put them away and still have just one screen is pretty cool too, so you don't have to pull out and use this bulky-ass thing during a lecture. Shit, if this wasn't a gaming laptop and was in my price range I'd be in the market for this. If it can play GTASA at 30 FPS it's good enough for me. [editline]5th January 2017[/editline]
What? My K70 (non RGB) is beautiful imo.
Key word is "some"
Also, "saviors of PC gaming"? The fuck.
It's a sarcastic meme
personally, a three screen laptop would be insanely perfect for video editing, having a workstation in your bag is a big selling point i dont mind editing on laptops but sometimes i really need that extra screen, so as silly as this may look, this might benefit more industries than just gaming
