As long as money and influence reign supreme in U.S. politics, well-known dinosaurs with lots of accumulated cash will always win the votes. I believe that rape can occur within marriage, but the idea can initially sound counter-intuitive, inviting unrealistic scenarios. Set that aside and after a bit of thought you should realize that it's something that can happen.
