Bioware hasn't really done anything wrong except having some pretty awful writing in some portions of their games, like the romances and ending of ME3, and parts of Dragon Age.
Since Warhammer is already a concrete universe with preexisting characters, they don't have to write up an entire universe themselves. Plus, they'll already have a lot of resources already around to work with. I hope for the best.
Also I can't wait for the abhorrently unfunny "hurr heresy" jokes in this thread.
lately its all awful though so
lately its all awful though so
ME3 was okay imo. only bad part was the ending, mostly because kc whoever and that bald fuck basically wrote the entire thing themselves without getting the team to look it over. also hamburger helper.
in terms of gameplay (excluding tortanic because that fucking thing ruins my opinion's credibility), bioware's recent games have been great.
hasn't games workshop learned that EA can't be trusted with their license?
huh?, remind me please, when did EA screw up a warhammer game again?
SWTOR wasn't made by the mass effect team and was basically just Mythic entertainment with bioware slapped on the top
I can't wait for their first 40k game to have a no-combat setting so as not to alienate anyone.

Even then TOR is hardly a bad game. I really enjoy it. DOnt get me wrong I'd be the first to tell you its just hotkey combat up the ass. But if you know that's what your getting out of it in terms of gameplay and dont mind it its really fun.
Can't fuck it up any worse than Matt Ward did.
We need hamburger's face photoshopped onto a Nob.
the only thing I can faintly hope for is some sort of actually good Rogue Trader game or something.
Bioware usually writes in Noble-bright settings though. I can't even imagine how they would adapt to a grim-dark setting like 40k.
Basically it's like this:

If this is true, Bioware can't do anything too heretical with the property. GW are nazis when it comes to the portrayal of their stuff and if Bioware tries to shoehorn its recent LGBTQ-pandering bullshit into the game, they'll pull the license. This happened with Space Marine's original devs, who got their project taken away by GW because they didn't do bolters correctly.
I'm sure GW is at least partially aware of EA/Bioware's recent transgressions, so I'm sure they'll be kept on a VERY tight leash.

And then they exterminatus your planet because of vipers.

Maybe the Spess Mahrines will cook up something good!
HOW ABOUT NO
But then as they were entering the warp, they would realize the crew in the lower decks have become full on viper-cultists, and the ship is lost to the perils of the warp.

The actual source just says that a "trusted source" told them about this. Just a rumor with zero evidence.

fucking really? they abandoned anything resembling a KOTOR 3 and put my favourite series in the hands of the guys who made fucking warhammer online?
fuck this gay earth
I'm cautiously optimistic, doesn't everyone remember wanting an Ordo Xenos inquisition game ala Mass Effect? People were howling out for a game like that, Bioshock would be silly not to do something with it, it's a tried and tested formula, people like it and people want it.
and if Bioware tries to shoehorn its recent LGBTQ-pandering bullshit into the game, they'll pull the license
by all means hate bioware for shoehorning romance subplots with every character into their games, or for the romance subplots themselves being terribly written but please don't start saying that the thing wrong with them was that they portrayed homosexual relationships
seriously, like people throwing around the word 'faggot' all over the place I see a lot of this and no-one calls people on it. I hate bioware romances as much as you guys do but because they're TERRIBLY WRITTEN, not because I'm afraid of having gay relationships portrayed

never played TOR because I like good games
never played TOR because I like good games
They basically put all the homosexual romance characters on a single planet.
It's one of those things that probably had good intentions behind it but came off as kind of screwed up.
