I want to play as an gaurdsman or as a commisair. Shouting FOR THE EMPEROR whilst shooting your fleeing man in the back.. wait... that doesnt sound like you will last long.
playing as a Commissar would work really well if you could get something partly squad-based, partly skill-based and partly stat-based like Mount and Blade. god there is so much untapped potential
I want to play as this smug motherfucker [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VqxdEZb.jpg[/img_thumb] Ciaphas fucking Cain
I want to play as this smug motherfucker [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VqxdEZb.jpg[/img_thumb] Ciaphas fucking Cain
those were just the funniest novels
In b4 mass effect type game
I thought marines were normal humans body wise, but taller and a little more muscle mass. And most of the bulk from their suits is just thick armor.

Basketball Player 7'6" 350lbs the fuck
I thought marines were normal humans body wise, but taller and a little more muscle mass. And most of the bulk from their suits is just thick armor.
In addition to the massive difference in size and weight from normal humans, Marines also have additional redundant organs to increase survivability as well as extra organs and implants to allow survival in many environments and conditions, like toxic gas, high heat, or direct contact with poisons or other agents. Their sensory organs are also replaced/improved to allow much better hearing and sight. They are stronger, faster, and tougher than normal humans by several orders of magnitude.
i'd really like to see what a primarch's body structure was like, since they were even more gigantic
i want the ending of the game to glorify creed like, the protagonist and his xeno-band along with his or her xeno-lover being pinned down against overwhelming enemy forces, surrounded with very little cover then suddenly, CREEEEEED appears with titans and baneblades, annihilating the enemies then blasting down the xeno party for being...aliens.
i'd really like to see what a primarch's body structure was like, since they were even more gigantic
It varied from primarch to primarch, Alpharius (and Omegon) were quite easily capable as passing off as regular Alpha Legionaires, so they cant have been all that much bigger.
i'd really like to see what a primarch's body structure was like, since they were even more gigantic
seems to have varied per Primarch, they would probably be about nine heading up to fourteen feet tall. weight and muscle mass depends on which dude you're talking about ofc, but Horus was the biggest as far as i know. although Sanguinius would technically be the biggest if you took wing span into account
really guys youre just gonna make dumb references to gay marines or w/e? as if warhammer doesnt already have a shit load of gay tension, there's an entire faction thats basically the space marines all BDSM'd up. how about the fact that bioware for whatever reason can't manage to fucking do RPG's correctly anymore??? i mean for any other company its fine to have some screw ups because RPG's can be difficult to make. Bioware however practically reinvented RPG's with baldur's gate so there's literally no excuse for them being unable to actually make an RPG anymore. i mean Dragon Age: Origins already had me kind of going "uh", but after that i dont even know what bioware was anymore. if you can only think of LGBT's when you think of criticisms of bioware, then you probably suck really hard and don't know what makes a good game anyway.
this, I don't care about Bioware's LGBT or the ridiculous internet hate for their writer, but the fact that recent Bioware games have been lackluster is an almost guarantee for poor Warhammer titles in the future
I want to play as this smug motherfucker [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VqxdEZb.jpg[/img_thumb] Ciaphas fucking Cain
wow look at all those gay undertones in the pic, clearly he enjoys getting penetrated from the rear if you know what i mean
wow look at all those gay undertones in the pic, clearly he enjoys getting penetrated from the rear if you know what i mean
Just look at that phallic object he's holding.
Yeah Ciaphas Cain is totally gay, what with all those women he's fucked over the years.
Yeah Ciaphas Cain is totally gay, what with all those women he's fucked over the years.
no dude, everyone knows he wants that gene "seed"
Yeah Ciaphas Cain is totally gay, what with all those women he's fucked over the years.
a commentary on gay men who overcompensate in order to appear straight while they struggle with their love of the dick Come on man how could you miss that subtext it was plain as day. I thought you were the Warhammer expert???
this could be cool what if you could like choose whether you follow the path of heresy and become the commander of some elite force and launch exterminatus and shit

If this game is not banned in at least five countries, Bioware will have failed. They need to go really fucking dark to get the proper amount of GRIMDARK that WH40k requires.
Aspies who cannot understand the words "context", "sarcasm", or "shut the fuck up already"
Is this written in third person?

Is merely the Emperors porch.
I like 40k's or Diablo's type of grimdark, where the universe is filled with evil of unimaginable power, but the protagonists are badass enough to match it. Unlike the other kind of dark fantasy where it's basically like normal fantasy, but someone gets raped every other chapter.
You know, if they make a game when you're playing as a Commissar, that would actually be good. Some kind of Fear/Respect rating your people feel for you, multiple choices (encourage the squad verbally/kill a trooper/do the slaanesh walk) and that stuff would work. [editline]5th May 2013[/editline] Or you know, you could just go and praise the Omnissiah as a dedicated servant of the God-Machine.
