That's pretty terrifying, imagine being a victim but being a victim to the people that you're supposed to call to help. I really admire her for having the courage to actually call the police, I don't think I would be able to trust them
Oh jeez, you're one of these types.
I would have never known with that avatar.
Well, he is right
Its pretty irritating when legitimate criticism of law enforcement is deflected with "but what if your house gets broken into and you need to call 911!? Checkmate anarchists!!"

I agree, everything is worth a discussion, stop shooting people down because you don't agree with them.
Oh god, this website is hilarious.

How can you enforce the law when you can't even follow it yourself?
The dashcam is a big role here. He knew it wasnt working. Even the chief is going against him.
Also, bad source. He was "accused" not caught raping.
Have a less bias source

The officer is out on $20,000 bail pending indictment

Guilty until proven innocent.
This right here is the biggest problem. Law enforcement should not be allowed any second chances or breaks for shit like this. I'm fairly convinced the way they handle the situations when it comes to officers committing blatant crimes helps perpetuate the hatred and general distrust the police seem to get so much of. It should be a rule that if you're a cop and you fuck up to this degree, you are publicly stripped of your badge and barred from working in law enforcement at the very very least.
So if you're a cop and you get accused of a crime, not convicted, just accused of a crime, your pay should be cut and you should be stripped of your badge?
Whatever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'?

Pretty irritating when a case involving the police officer's own department turning against him is deflected with anarchist 'systemic corruption abuse of power broken system' ranting, as if one person abusing his power means all cops are thuggish pigs.

if i am put in jail for certain charges should i be paid while i am not going to work?
he's not in jail so that doesn't make sense

Should you? Yes. Will you? employers discretion.
Make sense?

the point still stands. he isn't working, why should he get a vacation after being accused of rape?
administrative leave is far from a vacation. You're getting interviewed by detectives. and lawyers. your life is on the line.
systemic corruption and incompetence in law enforcement.
The last thing the police wants to do is make its police officers or departments look bad.
Police will never be accountable until have have massive reform

uhm but that's not what he implied? read what he was quoting.
the officer was previously noted to have made sexual advances towards young women twice before. it's either corruption or incompetence (mostly incompetence due to hanlon's razor) that allows officers like these to get a badge.
and lol criticizing the police for corruption and incompetence is far from an anarchist idea. not to mention anarchism has literally nothing to do with this it just gets brought up as an ad hominem every time yawmwen posts.

every time someone criticizes the institution that creates and protects scummy people like in the OP there's a resounding cry of "but wait! not all cops are thuggish pigs!" yeah no fucking shit. the idea is there shouldn't be ANY thuggish pigs at all, or at least not anywhere near the insane number there is now. when stories like these are a regular occurrence it means something is fucked up somewhere in the institution, not "oh it's just a few bad apples."

Getting detention in school is a synonym for a vacation.

The Knockout Game is not a myth because I keep seeing stories of it popping up. It keeps happening too often that it has to be real.

So if someone at your work accuses you of rape you should get fired instantly?
