they need to realise that washington had the power to become king of america and the dlc is just an alternate scenario

We should stop idolizing washington. The dude is the reason the french and indian war happened (and subsequently, the reason why the american revolution happened). The entire birth of the country was the result of a few major fuckups by washington that he totally didn't intend at all.

But AC2 was pretty optimized, the design choices were much better than the first game and there are very few flaws. AC Brotherhood took that and pushed it, Revelations made a few bad design choices but overall still isn't nearly as bad as you're making it out to be and AC3 I've had no problems with to the point that I have played to. Sure the framerate is a little lacking every now and again, but that has nothing to do with a consumers intelligence.
