Of course, they all went on a huge spree saying. OMG WORST STORM IN 31 YEARS, WORST STORM IN 70 YEARS. Then, Oh, it was nothing. Sorry bro.[/QUOTE]
Central illinois here, our school has a metal roof and it sounds like thunder because it's so windy.
Cold and windy as hell here in MN. Related:

Snip
Ohioan; Sirens all over the Ohio State campus were going off. They went off like five times, which was silly.
The whole state was basically under tornado watch/warning. Pretty cool. The red line that covered the state was intense.

This is hitting me right now. The gravel roads are awful.
Southern Wisconsin, We had a tornado watch this morning, crazy winds all day. Could hear it in the classroom.
I was literally able to fall back and the wind held me up.
We had tornado watches here in Missouri.
We practically had no rain at all.
The weather just split and went around us, then re-formed.
Winds are still wild though.
Missouri here, stormed last night and it's been really windy today.
Southern Indiana (New Albany) here. We got a bunch of rain and wind and a funnel cloud directly above the school and we all had to huddle up in the hallways and whatnot.
Georgetown Indiana here (Right next to New Albany by the way). This afternoon we got strong winds and heavy rain. Got to sit under a desk instead of going to lunch
Detroit, MI here. No wind, rain, anything yet. And this super-cell supposedly formed 2 miles away from me...
:colbert:
Oh my god, HAHAH. Missed us by 20 miles :D
Been feeling it here in the Chicago suburbs. Winds have been MASSIVE. Like, I woke up at 4 this morning because the trees outside my window were battering against the glass.
Oh fuck, is that what the massive cloud coming over the mountains is?
Shit, I have to bike home tonight, fun 5 miles this will be.
Reed Timmer must be having a field day with this. I hope noone gets hurt.

Liar
windy as fuck
most of the schools in west michigan closed due to a tornado warning
It's so fucking windy, the door is like slamming in the frame, but the rain ain't that bad. It's been like all day though.

it got a little gusty down Wells... but not that hard to do though. Those buildings really help making a wind tunnel effect.
Here in Eastern Michigan we got some rain and really strong winds, but the rain lasted like 3 minutes and then stopped. We had a tornado watch in the morning.
South Dakotian here. The wind blew me over as I was walking home today
I was running home with my friends, one smashed his head on the concrete sidewalk. The wind was THAT strong.
Iowa reporting in. Really windy, cold, and rainy. Reminds me of Washington (state).

It depends if you're talking about downtown, or the city in general.
Oh crap our garbage and recycling bins just fell over and now shit's all over the yard
We got a tornado watch but not much else.
I was a little disappointed.

Well the loop you'll get the wind tunnel effect, where all the wind rushes between the buildings. Out in the neighborhoods.. the wind is a bit more bearable.
Its been windy all day today, it's still right now as I type.
